This is absolutely great...so useful in addressing many important pointers to enable bassists' to create a meaningful and melodic solo...not just a haphazard string of notes.
Thanks Oscar! I don't think the solo has been transcribed, but I do have the pdf from the session if that's of interest. Let me know at bob@openstudiojazz.com
@@oscareduardoangulo2250 Hi Oscar! There's really only 2 unique Whole-tone scales, right? They just recycle - but we want to think about them fitting in harmony. Perhaps think about them as +7 (augmented dom7 chords) and start phrases on the r/3rd/5th/7th/9th....

Great Lesson!!!
Thank You so much!!
Great presentation Bob. Met you across the bar in Seattle with Keezer. Very organized and concise.
Oh cool! What's up Paul? Hope you're well
Open Studio love the video! Going to get myself and all my students to apply this study.
@@paulygabe Hi Paul. This is Bob, and that was my comment above - just wanted to clarify. Appreciate you checking it out. Take care!
Hello Bob great lesson you are a great teacher!
Would it be possible to have the fingering on the partiture?
Hi again Oscar. I hadn't included the fingering for any of this, but if there's a particular section you would like advice on just let me know.
@@bobdeboo8549 Muchas gracias!
I have a lot of problems connecting the solo melodic ideas, advise?
Hey Bob thanks so much for your lesson, that was a killer melodic solo, do you have the transcription?
Thanks Oscar! I don't think the solo has been transcribed, but I do have the pdf from the session if that's of interest. Let me know at bob@openstudiojazz.com
