@10:00 Dweller was the real problem (it almost wins vs Dark World on its own). Despite the spell-heavy hand vs -just- Nat Beast, you just activate Accession, gets negated, then you activate the GY effect that isn't considered a "Spell Card activation" but a spell card effect so Nat Beast CANNOT negate it. You discard Grapha, destroy Nat Beast, then because Accession says "you can only activate 1 per turn" you can use it again to fuse!!! Ohh wait, it said you can USE both effects once. So it won't work. Can't wait for the next TMT! (If only it was "you can only activate" for 1st effect, and soft opt the gy effect, the deck could have actually worked without over-relying on Dangers)
I got the Structure of them in OCG, super fun to play it as on it's own and it's really easy to play. Only thing is to try to stop yourself from going 100% and then run out of gas on crackback. I don't have the Danger set yet sadly lol
This video got me into playing dark world when it first came out I would not be playing Yugioh anymore if I hadn’t picked up dark worlds and given up being competitive
this is a very cool deck that was good in very different formats of different eras with different playstyles (!) over the years. 10 years ago I didn't enjoy playing against dw but nowadays I respect and admire the deck
Why not use Trade-in? You have 12 levels 8, it's more gas, let's you break boards discarding dangers if you go second, it facilitates the Reingbeaux-Grapha resource loop and there is few Ash in this format like you said. It also reduces the likelihood of bricking with a full DW hand. Apart from that really similar to my build. Didn't know Brainwashing was not once per turn, I'll probably change Punishment for it.
It's an option but the fact that it doesn't trigger Dark Worlds and you only care about triggering the big Dangers going second is kind of annoying. Personally I play Allure but I'm also not on nearly as many big Dangers as MBT is.
Honestly really glad this deck isn't too crazy good. Say what you want about tear 0 format, but the last thing we need to push it out of the meta is a deck who's main strategy is hand looping
What I like about this new support is that it can enable the potential 5x Trish type strat going first and instant fusion+winda+Reborn strat for going second. If I made a list.. those 2 strats would be my primaries. Future episode of jank?
It's so satisfying winning with DW right now because everybody thinks it's bad since people are already playing cards that counter it, but they end up losing anyway lol.

Is... is the actual often-used term of the Kitkallos effect "doing the yoinky-sploinky"? 'Cause if so that might actually make me want to try this strategy.
I was not expecting the Baudrillard reference, but it does work. the retrain of a retrain is in a sense a simulation of a simulation, just like how disneyworld is a simulation of the rest of our world, which is in itself artificial. So then the question is, if yugioh is a simulation that has control over our lives, and if opposition to the system only perpetuates the system, then how do we successfully destroy yugioh?
Admittedly I was much more interesting the trap variation, I feel like this is the same iteration of the deck that everyone else is showing off. Regardless, love the video, but I think it'd be cool if you made another showing off that version of the deck!
I'm assuming it had a combination of lucent, abyss barrier statue, ido the magical thingy, and neko mane king. use lucent's second effect to summon either abyss to your field or ido to the other side use super grapha, ceruli, brainwashing, or hilariously even dark deal to discard neko and turn your opponent's first turn draw cards into a turn pass and win
I agree with you about the meta call man. I've been playing DW since 2005 deck always got bested by something each format and also if Droll comes back we're f***ed
Aside from being able to discard your opponents entire hand if set up properly, which I think is one of the least fun abilities for a deck to have. This is the kind of deck that makes Yugioh fun. Crazy combos, drawing 97 cards, throwing half your hand and deck into the graveyard just to fill your board and hand back up, summoning monsters to your opponent's side of the field to get off certain effects, all sorts of different summon mechanics, a present skill ceiling, but not taking a PHD to play, just fairly consistent explosive plays, and it doesn't focus on negating your opponent's ability to breathe. But it's still nowhere close to unbeatable. And being somewhat similar to a dominating deck like IshTear, just proves what has always been true about Yugioh. Rogue is just simply more fun than meta.
I don't see a reason not to play Branded in High Spirits. It's a discard, setup for Gates, and an Upstart since Albion tosses a copy out to tuck and draw. Foolish Burial Goods is also alright to send Accesscion for a guaranteed discard but I don't like it as much.
Just curious, what would you swap out for the new “fetch and pitch” card? I assume they’re in the deck now. Also, has anything else come out I might have missed?
When you get Silvas second eff of picking 2 random card from opponents hand and place them in any order on bottom of the deck does the dark world player see the cards he chooses after selecting or the player who has to place the card in deck only look at them? Thanks guys
Still waiting on a retrain of the Pyro SD, probably never will alongside any Pyro support. Can't wait for PPS Jord though, gotta figure out what to take out to make room for the ship though.

So then the question is, if yugioh is a simulation that has control over our lives, and if opposition to the system only perpetuates the system, then how do we successfully destroy yugioh?
Looks like everyone was right, all Dark Worlds needed to be a meta contender was some bat shit insane support, and it is glorious.
Remember yall DO NOT answer the giveaway scam bots
Admittedly I was much more interesting the trap variation, I feel like this is the same iteration of the deck that everyone else is showing off. Regardless, love the video, but I think it'd be cool if you made another showing off that version of the deck!
Purple cards!!!
Purple cards!!!
Purple cards!!!
Where's neko mane king? You've never seen a grown man cry till you successfully resolve neko mane king on him.
using dark deal to turn their banish 10 pot of cupidity into a pot of stupidity
The fact that Konami didn't sponsor MBT for Dark Worlds is the greatest blunder since the 2012 ban list.
Mad props to the post office for letting MBT record that bit.
fuck yeah been waiting for this ever since that short you made about them.
Hot take: You should side Dark World Dealings against Floowandereeze and other non Tear decks.
As a lightsworn player in TCG had to side dark mirror for a long time because of decks like Dark World and other strong darks.
baudrillard in an mbt video
we truly live in a simulation
Can you show us the cool control variant you were talking about the other day?
I'm assuming it had a combination of lucent, abyss barrier statue, ido the magical thingy, and neko mane king.
use lucent's second effect to summon either abyss to your field or ido to the other side
use super grapha, ceruli, brainwashing, or hilariously even dark deal to discard neko and turn your opponent's first turn draw cards into a turn pass and win
where are the neko mane kings :(
I agree with you about the meta call man. I've been playing DW since 2005 deck always got bested by something each format and also if Droll comes back we're f***ed
Boy he was not kidding about Coach king giantrainer being pot of greed on steroids
The images for the video didn’t load but the audio was still playing. I honestly thought it was a tier 0 bit at first lol
I like your Dave Strider shirt.
I audibly gasped when you said Dark World Brainwashing isn't once per turn. Can't believe I didn't notice that.
Master Rule 5 is a second graveyard
@MBTYu_Gi_Oh wow scammers targeting people who literally cant read... disgusting and ableist !!!
I don't see a reason not to play Branded in High Spirits. It's a discard, setup for Gates, and an Upstart since Albion tosses a copy out to tuck and draw. Foolish Burial Goods is also alright to send Accesscion for a guaranteed discard but I don't like it as much.
Ah yes, the sillva hand loops, my favorite 😂😂😭😭
Tbf to that 1 game naturia beast is a beast of a card
Konami is just afraid of making Colorless a real card because then Dark World would be tier 0.
Mind telling me what Colorless actually does? They would have to make something up because it was never actually shown
@@heatsflamesman5353 nobody knows what it does. Like you said, they'll have to make up an effect for it
it's a black rose dragon basically that sucks up your resources for a big protectionless guy@@heatsflamesman5353
Wtf, I didn't know they released darkworld support, even though I've played against it like 8 times last week and destroyed it with BA.
That's it! I'm playing d shifter in tear!
What simulator are you using for this stuff? It looks nice.
Konami activated dark world dealings before sending out the package.
🤣🤣🤣
Why does he look so smooth in this video
What was that joke about Jean Baudrillard 😂😂😂.
Just curious, what would you swap out for the new “fetch and pitch” card? I assume they’re in the deck now. Also, has anything else come out I might have missed?
We have the same pajama pants
Wait, does the dark world fusion spell just power creep overload fusion?
no? overload fusion is for machines, dark world ascension is for fiends
dont think im letting that CeLuRi pass me by!
I heavily fuck with the dark worlds, deck is legitimately good
mbt making sure to visit his local post office late late at night to film skits and sketches
wheres eye of timaeus?
Is the game YGOPRO?
You can also play Canon soldier, saryujas, machine dupes, and morphtronic telefons for an ftk :)
I skip, using whole of my deck resources just for an ftk is meh.
@mbt
What is your deck of choice
love the homestuck shirt
but where the hell is colorless and how long will it take for him to get a card
When you get Silvas second eff of picking 2 random card from opponents hand and place them in any order on bottom of the deck does the dark world player see the cards he chooses after selecting or the player who has to place the card in deck only look at them? Thanks guys
2:25 every structure except the dragunity SD. I will forever hate konami (TCG) for not giving us the retrained dragunity structure deck
why not play akashic to also get a 3rd 2 card shuffle back ? you don't seem to be fiend locked but I don't fully remember the entire deck
Still waiting on a retrain of the Pyro SD, probably never will alongside any Pyro support. Can't wait for PPS Jord though, gotta figure out what to take out to make room for the ship though.
I believe the next retrain Structure will be Chaos Dragons
@@ashuraahunter then it sounds like after a few more months, we'll get a Fire Kings SD. Great......
i s2g every time i see MBT recently, it's just dave strider shirt
