I had mine on the pole since 8weeks. He's only 9 weeks so i haven't been doing it long. But this isn't my first rodeo. But I still like to learn. It never stops. With my boy he's super engaged and food driven so it's easy working with him. I love this lil guy he's hemphill/wallace old family red. These are some game, intelligent, feisty dogs. Wouldn't recommend them to a first timer. Get a pitbull from Craig's list. Where you can see the parents. No parents no purchase. And if you have never owned a dog at all don't get a APBT

Your doing just fine. Your training is respected. I am truly amazed by what I see. There are a lot of videos out here BUT you have the right factor. I'm not alone in my opinion. 💯👍

I’d do it in a big field to give them more range to run more. Flirt pole is a great way to get them in shape. It’s just these two boys are big and need more space.

This is exactly what I do with my dog. She LOVES her “DUCK.” (A nylon duck attached to a 4’ rope tied to a 6’ pole.) I have to really watch her though and make sure she doesn’t overdo it and get too hot. Bc there’s no in between with her. She’s going as hard as she can, the whole time. But it’s excellent training bc even as excited as she gets, I can still make her “GIVE,” “WAIT,” and “SIT” even though all she wants is for me to swing it again

I think some dogs would become uninterested after a while but he certainly knows his dogs so he prolly knows they will remain interested. But i def think the same thing anytime using flirt pole with my dogs i don’t want them to get discouraged after a while.

Gotta get them frustrated at first for 1-2 minutes, then let em get it. He also probably did that to keep continuity in the video as it would have been a long pause trying to get it back from two dogs.
