Winch Solenoid conversion / replacement.

How I upgraded my old non-working big coils (20 years old) to the new smaller style WITHOUT a kit. I used jumper cables with a battery directly to the motor, but the sparks and having to keep switching the jumpers was a pain.

Would really love to see a schematic, especially with the wires from the solenoid to the winch motor. All I can find are 3 contact motors. I have a 2 contact motor just like you are showing.
