In the game, you can reset your officers for a permanent bonus on your character. You start level one again with the permanent bonus, and i think there is a maximum number of times you can do it.
That was already in Hyper edition for the Wii U. Ultimate pretty much contains what the PSP and WiiU version had, plus some extra modes (that 5-man team sequence called "Ultimate mode" plays just like Samurai Warriors 2 survival mode).

Good, good. After playing for years Sangoku Musou Next on my VITA, it's about time to get on my hand another Koei's game for VITA. And with Kasumi! Kasumi and Wang YuanJi in the same game. My dream have come true at last T^T

それより無双オロチ3ultimateみたいなの出てきて欲しいです。その時はキャラクターをもっと見やすく、全キャラを少しでもいいから均等に扱って欲しいなと思います。サイドストーリー一回しか出てないキャラとか沢山いましたし…。それとストーリーだけではなく前みたいにモードも増やして欲しいなと思いました。キャラ数多くて神器とか新要素あって楽しかったのですが、そこだけが心残りです…。

already confirmed some time ago, save data and DLC from the origonal PS3 version of WO3 are compatible with the PS3 and PSVita versions of WO3U.
