When I was little, we would drive 2 hrs to my grandparents' house for Christmas day. Dad would always take the back roads so we could go past a reindeer farm - and the farm next to it raised buffalo. I was pretty little at the time, and to me they just seemed like huge, hairy beasts. I remember them always covered in snow and had great billows of steam coming out of their noses with each snort!
I loved the 1977 Bing Crosby Christmas show performance with Bing Crosby and David Bowie. "Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy" was so moving that I still rewatch that video clip from time to time. You can't go wrong with Buffalo Plaid if you live in Colorado!

I was in the chorus in High School and we had a Christmas concert every year. I loved all the Christmas carols we performed. The very last piece sung was always Hallelujah Chorus from Messiah. I’ll still sing along when I hear it. When on a trip out west 3 years ago I saw a lot of buffalo. I really need to do some smalls. I tend to stitch bigs.
