Lord he's a jewel like my papa buddy. Buddy taught me river crawdads and red-eye,bass catfish. Ate fish most every week. He always saved some for our church fish fry and I was always involved. He helped raise me with my mom and brother and older sister. Dad left when I was 3. I'm not complaining life is good with men like y'all! Be safe God bless and hug that man for me. I miss my papa buddy but he's still in my soul. Those fish better look out brother.

You're a lucky man Rocky! My Dad never made it past 59. Been gone 40 years now..........I still miss him every day. Best memories were of us fishing which was rare. Dad worked 6 days a week.

Rocky, I really enjoy this video of you fishing with your daddy. His stories are great and reminds me of what I used to do too. Semper Fi! I miss taking my mom fishing, especially when she would catch everything but fish. I told her that turtles and bullfrogs don't count, but she had fun doing it. I sure miss my daddy. He loved fried fish. His been gone a little over a year now. He was ninety one when he passed. I'm up in Eastern NC and in a week some of my family and myself are going to the coast for our week of surf fishing, first time without him, ain't going to be the same. I enjoyed every minute with my mom and dad before they went to be with the LORD. Rocky, I have finally gotten the knack of catching fish in my area of Georgia. I am fishing a river near where the water is coming out of the Hydro-Electric Dam. The water is cold, and trout are there. Using worms, in 4 hours I caught 3, 4" Green Sunfish I released, then I caught a 15 3/4" beautiful Brown Trout, then I caught a Green Sunfish that was the same size and exact color as the first one you show in this video, a 9" Brown Trout, an 8" Rainbow Trout and a 13" Brown Trout that got off the line while reeling in.
I cooked them the same way you did it for you dad, my wife would not let me use that much oil though...LOL!
Sure, is fun catching and Eating the fish one catches.

LOVE this!! My dad is 76 and in pretty good shape. I pray he’s still around at your dad’s age for me to take fishing. That’s the best eating fish we have. My dad says if they’re big enough to bite a hook, they’re big enough to eat. Haha.
