i was off by 15k on the combine. i thought 120k usually want combines with those hours you mentioned go for here. even cheaper i seen one go for 75k once idr the model but was a 2015-17 john deere series combine.
Hey there Ron and the gang, just curious if that was all of the farms equipment do you have any idea of the total acres of the farm?? Also I think my Kubota is going to get a chrome stack. The tractor is nothing like what you showed from the auction, it's an M-4000 two wheel drive, straight 6 cyl non turbo. We plant corn and soy beans with it. Does everything we need to do and the best part is it's payed for. Take care and you and the Budman have a great Easter with all the families. Greg
So Ron, what happens to the grain bins? Does the farmer rent them out? Or is the farmer retiring and selling the whole farm as well? Just wondering what the whole story is. Also, remember going to farm auctions in early 80s. Those were sad because they were foreclosures.
Hey Ron a sharp little ten year old gets within a couple thousand for the planter. That kid will be a wheeler dealer. Your dad liked the kid and he knew what you were doing out setting up your maps. And what day.
Is that semi trailer where you pay after it’s done? I’ve always wondered how the financial part of auctions works obviously people don’t have 100k in their pockets so how do people do it, does places like steffe do financing or do you have to have some sort of financial backing already set before you go?
You either have the money upfront. Or most farm finance companies offer auction financing. You get financed for a money amount and then you can spend up to that.
Love the fact that you got your dad involved. Also love the fact that he was willing. Great channel. Keep the content coming.
I think Case should be on more of your Videos . What a good young man
Nice equipment
Thanks 👍
I hope that the farm continues as a farm. Happy Easter to Bud Man ,Ron, and your families!
Same to you!
Nice to see you had a fan recognize you guys

I like seeing auctions but the auctions I don’t like to see are the ones ware the farmers are retiring
Wow....that guy sure had alot of 2wd tractors for some reason. Here in Canada all auctions are online and mostly timed auctions because of Covid

Tractor tires all look pretty new.
I am a auction junkie those prices are pretty good. 68000 for the 7230 is really a high price. Always fun to go.

Question; I notice there is quite alot of farm auctions going on, Do you know if there are young ,new farmers taking there place? Just wondering
Not as many as I would like there too be but there are a few younger farmers out there taking their spots
On the Case combine I guessed 150k.
7500 was a little too high for a Farmall 450.
Is that youngster a member of your fanclub? Where'd is Machinery Pete? Great video Ron
I was wondering if Greg was there in Iowa for his show.
He was not... that I know of haha
Smoke bar. Auger

Keep up the good work I am from Minnesota and love helping out on farms and you make my day every time you make a video
So what happens to the land?
You will see in Tuesday’s video
I think it’s a quick hitch to help the bud man hook up the new John Deere brush cutter
I said 115,000 on the combine
Did the bank forclose
Guessing you bought the planter and combine
Good guess!
What happens if u bid higher but then regret and dont wanna buy it? Just curious
As soon as that bid is up... you are locked in
I think quick hitch
A hot dog and an order of cheesy fries.
