A Benny Not So Bene Day

Spring XC season is here. Several of us went to the Benny launch on April 22 with hopes of some big flights. However, a 15-20 k NE wind up high created challenging and turbulent conditions. Some opted not fly. Others had rough flights and spicey landings. A few of us got high enough to make it to Deroche.

I think it’s always bumpy at this time of year. And it is that bumpiness that allows us to do the bigger flights. My guess is that you are now venturing more into the bumpiness as your experience grows.
