Winking Owl is my 2nd favorite Sauvignon Blanc. My first favorite is Barefoot which is $5 and has a screw-top. I've tried many more expensive labels but barefoot has never let me down! The only thing I don't like about winking Owl is their awful synthetic corks. They're a pain.
@@doesnotFempute To be complete honest with you, I personally like the Synthetic Cork Winking Owl uses. I have never had one break or separate on me. Regardless if it’s my fault or not.
If I’m drinking $3 wine I’m probably pairing it with a bag of popcorn, not a fancy cheese tray that costs more than my total monthly grocery budget. Cheers!
Love this wine. It’s definitely at the top of my list as far as good, but cheap wines go. Bought 2 bottles and spent like 6 bucks including taxes. Can’t beat the price for the quality.
I am impressed with Aldi's beer and wine. Just recently discovered the Winking Owl brand and it's it's a bang for the buck. The Moscato is really good, and their white 3l box is actually pretty drinkable for a box. Their beer and cider are good too, but the hard root beer tastes too medicinal. I recommend the Wild Range IPA if you dig beer though; goes great with a big steak!
I once had guests over and had Winking Owl paired up with a $42 bottle of cab and had them tell me which was better. Everyone liked the WO. I pair mine with the nice cheese and meat selections also found at Aldi.
Polished off a box last night, it's a solid wine in general, and quite good considering it's in a box. Used to have a lot of bad boxed wine but this is actually good. Cheers
Aldi keeps surprising me. I shopped at one this morning but that location doesn't have liquor, but another location in state (CT) might. I'll have to give that other location a visit later this week.
Their Shiraz is okay for me. I mix it with my mead I make too. I do love the Aldi cheeses and Chocolate! Like 2 bucks for 85% cocoa is amazing I think.
Winking owl has to be my absolute favorite wine and now that I am going plant based I want to know that some of my favorite things like this wine is vegan or not. eggs and other animal products were still placed in it and I get that it was removed and undetectable.. tbh I might just turn the other cheek when it comes to this wine because it's absolutely delicious!
Yep. I like it. Just drink it. It's OK I don't need to keep up with the Joneses or impress anyone. Mashed grapes are mashed grapes. $2.95 in Hampton, VA. But hey, that's just me. To me it shows that a $20 vs. $3 is about the same, but I'm cheap, you don't have to tell me.
Most of these Winking Owl wines I have purchased have less ABV (alcohol by volume) than regular wines of the same varietals. Check the labels to see the ABV.
I just picked up my 1st bottle of Winking Owl Merlot ABV is 12%. I must say I tried it after dinner with a good slice of Aldi’s Gouda cheese. It just melts in your mouth. It’s by far the best Gouda I have ever tried. On my next trip to Aldi I will buy the Smoked Gouda. I really enjoyed a glass of Merlot. Actually I went back to pour another few sips. I like feeling the Breeze I got from the Merlot.
Saw this today for the 1st time and picked up a bottle for $2. If you are wondering what sponge water tastes like this is probably it. Poured the bottle down the drain after a few sips. I almost threw up on my 1st sip. For compression, my go to cheap wine is Mondavi and Ghost Pine.
It's disgusting. I bought red and white wine at aldis for 1.99 each and I had to dump it out!! It tasted like the smell of rubbing alcohol mixed with rotten fruit.
The white zin: blech! Just this side of sweet vinegar and an exlax substitute. But the pinot grigio - really not bad - good use of $3 - and no extra trips to the john!
What's your choice for a nice, affordable wine?
Winking owl 💯%
Blotto Brothers
Methylated spirits with a dash of Ribena
Beringers, aldi, franzia
I feel like Randy Marsh getting buzzed on cheap and tasty wine
For $3 I can’t complain and a lot better than most wine costing 3x it’s price. In fact I’m going to have a glass right now.
Esk8 Forum Salut!

I just did 😁

The wine is really really good though don't sleep on it b/c its cheap, it tastes really good

Actually, Winking Owl Sweet Red is my favorite. It's smooth, sweet, tasty and low ABV! My kind of wine.
I bought the Sangria to be on the safe side- but I had the sweet red in my hand while trying to make up my mind.
Good! I just ordered the pinot and sweet red I'm glad to hear some one say it's tasty. I soon will see

It’s a delicious wine that’s 3 dollars it taste like most or better between 8 and 12 dollars. It’s not bitter, sour, or diluted
I really like the sweet red and Shiraz. Enough for under 3.00 usd. Thank you Aldi for an everyday affordable wine. Cheers!
I keep hearing her accent as, "Winking Al". Don't get upset - just me...
I am drinking a glass of Aldi wine now , 😃
Bought three bottles of this purely for the fact that it was dirt cheap. So far the sangria and cab sauv are quite good!
I once had guests over and had Winking Owl paired up with a $42 bottle of cab and had them tell me which was better. Everyone liked the WO.
I pair mine with the nice cheese and meat selections also found at Aldi.
Love it! And the price makes it taste even better.
Get the Winking owl white box blend for 10 dollars. It’s 4 bottles!
Polished off a box last night, it's a solid wine in general, and quite good considering it's in a box. Used to have a lot of bad boxed wine but this is actually good. Cheers

Mixing reviews, really? I LOVED IT!!
I live in Arkansas and you can buy wine in any grocery store. Research team dropped the ball on this video
Really ? Then I am moving there forever - from Australia...
It's not too uncommon to get wine beer and liquor in a gas station in wisconsin lol
Their Shiraz is okay for me. I mix it with my mead I make too. I do love the Aldi cheeses and Chocolate! Like 2 bucks for 85% cocoa is amazing I think.
I Live in Arkansas and yes you can definitely by wine and beer in our grocery stores
dbrewer53 Sounds like Heaven - but on Earth!
They make a nice sweet red.
I'm drinking some right now.
This reminds me of Blotto Brothers Wine commerical from the animated show "The Critic". It's a rich full body wine sensibly priced at a dollar a jug.
The quality of winking owl 🦉 🍷 wine greatly exceeds the low price.
Competitors sell lesser quality wine for much more money 💰. I vote for the owl 🦉🍷.
Does Winking Owl have less sugar than other wines?
Delicious wine, my favorite... My wife thinks I pay $40 for it :)
I love their Chardonnay.
D J. J It is very good.
I just drunk a whole bottle in less than 5 minutes
Did you get drunk?
I love the merlot. It is my go to buzz wine.
I agree. I like to call it
“ Feeling The Breeze”

ALC 8.5% By volume
The reds are all 13%. That's about average for a red wine.
I just picked up my 1st bottle of Winking Owl Merlot ABV is 12%.

Had some at yoga last week 🧐
W I N K I N G A L
great product i buy 2 or 3 bottles every time i go to aldi
On my xbox one it said that this video may be offensive and inappropriate?
To Italians
It's hilarious to me that anyone would care what vegans and/or vegetarians would think.
Think they were talking about Oklahoma but that's even changed
For the price? Amazing. However, I find for me their Pinot Grig has a slightly salty taste.
Sponsored by Aldi...
My only wine 🍷!
Not in Canada 😢
Not crazy bout their chadoney and sovignon, but their reds and rose' are delicious.
came here expecting a bunch of "Nobody:" memes
2 bucis and gets me drunk. Hehehhe
The Shiraz is really good!!
I just think the big boy don't like a good wine for a affordable price ,by the way I love it and I can afford a couple bottles 🍷😁
cudos to their chemistry department 😂 you believe it's not mixed up as any other cheap drink?
If YOU enjoy it, nuff said. We do.
It's a good wine
I just purchase the sangria winking owl at aldi's for $2 dollars and it's not bad.
Gotta try this
its a great "eating with food wine" nothing to write home to mom about but it'll get you drunk
my wino choice

Made in cali... but can't be bought here. Perfect!
KC P it may not be available in Cali, Colombia but, it’s at ALDIs in California.
It is available in California at ALDIs
I live in LA and am drunk now drinking it hahahah
Cheaper and probs nicer than the winking owl in Aviemore Scotland 🤣
The price went up a while dollar last month, and it's still the cheapest wine on the market lmao
Has a VERY low alcohol % ;
Good. Not everybody wants a high % of alcohol
Merlot is 12%
Beer has 5% on average. Winking owl is 13%. Boxed wine is 12%, Bourbon is 40% or higher
Never heard of this in the UK, then again I never drink wine
it depends on the wine what happens if you do not live in usa ? this is so bias
Why does this have so little views 🤔🤔
There was a RUclips outage last night.
maybe because not everyone shops at aldi
What’s the movie clip @ 2:40? Lol
Winking Owl = Illuminati 🤔
Did you intentionally try to find the person with the most excruciatingly annoying voice to do this video?
Voice is AI. Very annoying i agree
you want classy wine try buckfast tonic wine lol
It's disgusting. I bought red and white wine at aldis for 1.99 each and I had to dump it out!! It tasted like the smell of rubbing alcohol mixed with rotten fruit.
A proper plonk
The script is stupid.
$3 whine? No thanks. It is not from grapes. I ll drink water
Snob.
Not sure what wather is... guess it's how you pronounce water after a 2nd bottle of "Winking Al". 😉
@@jarvisyoung8350 😆😆
