I honestly think that gamma are gonna become the next wahl of the industry, always setting a bar for standard in our tools and competitive prices to match. But these guys actually listen to the criticism they receive, always improving, always open to feedback and giving people a lot of options of tools for where they're at in the barbers career.

Love the design, and yeah, I’ve heard nothing but good things about the Saber. Stylecraft + Gamma is quickly becoming my favorite brand, but I think eventually they’re going to have to be under the same name to avoid confusion as they are the same company. I think they’re just doing it to claim more market share, but yeah. I love their stuff dearly.

actually so the reason for the company being split has something to do with babyliss. whoever started gamma had originally worked for babyliss and they had a clause that made it to where they couldnt sell in the united states. so they made a sister company for sale in the states
The blade is what makes trimmers hit. The body and motor is just preference.
I don’t own any style craft products but i love the design on this trimmer i like that it can cut through bulk from what i seen in the video I’ll definitely be looking in to grabbing these 💯

It’s awesome style craft/gamma are putting in the work to be the best. The gold is a bit off putting so hope they come out with a black version. Also thanks for the rebel shaver sneak peak, I’m enjoying the ace but I’m gonna have to get the rebel for sure.
If they're like the Saber clippers, they come apart SUPER easy. The case just unscrews without having to take apart everything, like you do with the Babyliss, and it can paint them any color you want.
Gamma must be paying you well. You promote the hell out them.

I get annoyed when people say it’s good right out of the box. I think the fact that you can adjust trimmer blades should be something that’s appreciated more.

@@geoffbrown5621 to be honest with you iv'e been cutting from the 90's and have been through majorty of t outliners and my fav is a walmart t outliner that goes for 19.99 at the time,and now it's bumped up to 40 bucks. don't have to zero gap it. use what works for you. theres always a new clipper coming out.

Curious to see how these will compare to the hitters. I loved almost everything about the hitters except I couldn't get em hit. 🤷🏻♀️ Didn't hit out the box, tried zero gapping, and lastly changed the blade. I now only use them for detail work. Keep up the great work! Love your vids and just your general outlook/positivity.
How do you use them for detail work if they don’t hit?
On the lil ones and elderly. I mean, I have to hit it 2 or 3 times but it works.😆 I've since moved then to my travel/spare bag. I've had my sabers about a year prob now. 🔥 My coworker had to get himself a pair after borrowing mine all the time. Lol

I started out with the corded Wahl Peanut then upgraded to the Wahl Detailer also corded. Then my barber school teacher introduced me to the Babyliss fx ❤️🔥 loved them. I own two different fx’s with different blades on them one fine, & one deep 2.0. Im now looking for an all around trimmer that could do it all and the S/C Saber might just be it. Also, I will upgraded my Kemei 1986 clipper to the S/C Rebel Clipper in time. Great Video.

I have a husband who's a quadriplegic and I have to save him and cut his hair. He's a 57-year-old African American, and his hair is course. Which trimmer or electric razor could you recommend that can give a clean shave and a nice clean bald head. I purchased the Braun 9 series but returned it because it didn't get the job done. It seemed like it took me an hour just to get an almost decent shave. I'm 52 don't need to be on my feet for hours to shave his face and do a bald head
Sounds like a difficult situation, if it didn’t have to be bald. Actually, the saber would be a great trimmer for getting it as close as possible and preventing some of the irritation that can occur when you go all the way bald. Not to mention it will take you a lot less time.

When a company also sells grip products then expect what they sell to lack it.
@@RUclipsBarberAcademy When a company sells a product they wont create competition within their own company for that product. In this situation the trimmer is slippery, but they sell grips. If the trimmer was grippy then we wouldn't buy their grips. That tactic exists with nearly everything out there. Many times these companies are sister companies to one another and they wont make the perfect product bc it will ruin sales in their other companies. Instead they create a market of products that are not perfect but are better than they next in their own way and worse as well. That way they can create a competitive market within their own income. Just an observation within consumerism that many ppl overlook.
