i had to struggle with this stupid emanator 5 times with a fully built team consisting of jingliu blade tingyun and luocha. in the end i had to run bailu luocha fire trailblazer and jingliu. basically 3 sustains. and still i only won with like 100 hp on jingliu like just barely. this boss is absolutely ridiculous. and this guy casually killed him.......
Try using dr ratio and focus on the boss, let the minions stay alive the entire fight, and keep heal/shield while doing that. AOE characters doesn’t do very well with this boss, unless you can 1 shot those minions every time they spawn .
I FINALLY FIGURED OUT THE SECRET TO BEATING THIS BOSS AFTER A MONTH ...shielders! my account is TL60 (haven't ascended yet bcs of this quest) i tried so hard to beat this boss with the following team: natasha (lvl70) argenti (lvl70) hanya (lvl70) and dan heng IB (lvl70) but i died as soon as i entered phase 2,, then i replaced dan heng IB with my lvl60 barely built gepard (around 1.5k def) AND I BEAT IT?? so the trick is basically to have,, 1 healer, 1 (strong) dps, 1 support for dps and 1 shielder i'm f2p, my characters aren't all that either... the highest crit from my argenti is just 100k which is pretty meh knowing how much he can do with full investment. trust me, i suck at this game but a little thinking here and there can really help beat this annoying boss. also, don't focus much on killing the small minions, just keep spam attacking the main boss.
I just did it today I had so much trouble on it but the team I used was bailu, sparkle, march 7th(she’s my only shielded and I needed her cleanse to debug my ally’s) and IL
To be honest, i forgot what my build is, i just started playing this game at that time, i am pretty sure they are all using the musketeer relic, gepard plays a very important role in this fight, because he can weakness break the enemy and shield your entire team, please dont use Clara (her counter makes the boss keep spawn the minions)and swap her out for a support/harmony character, if your gepard shield is strong enough to sustain more than 3-4 hits, just focus on the boss with dr ratio, and let the first phase minions lives till second phase, so that the boss got no space to spawn the stronger minions. Otherwise just plan your attack like what i did in this video, good luck! 🫡
it's a hard fight, you should bring some good AoE attacker, serval should do the job if she is built well enough, max your fire mc (or any better sustainers) for 2nd phase

Or Physical trailblazer, March, Feixao and Natasha. Can even withstand 3 phases (which happened to me because of a bug, no pun intended)
