DIY Making hair from yarn for a rag doll - easy tutorial

One of the most popular questions is “How to sew hair on a doll?”
This method is painstaking, but I use it most often.
Important tips to consider:
- choose the thread according to the color of the yarn
- sew with thread in two layers.
- take yarn of medium thickness (if thin, then you can take several strands at once)
- Cut some yarn (it’s better to cut more so that there are no leftovers)
- make stitches as wide as the thickness of the thread
- if the thread runs out and the hair is not all sewn on, just make a knot, insert the thread into the needle and continue sewing.

Hi what type of fabric are you using for the doll? Im looking at felt because its the only type i can find my daughters skin tone in. Any other suggestions?
