I hope you're having a great day so far. It's so wonderful to be back posting try on haul videos for 2024! This is my first video of the year, so I wanted to film something big and what better brand than Universal Standard. Today's plus size haul is all about the Old Money Aesthetic. It's timeless, classic pieces that will never go out of style.
A lot of popular content creators are saying that old money aesthetic is out, but honestly, I'm not worried about what other people consider to be in or out of style. I march to the beat of my own drum and one day I might dress like an equestrian princess and the next day a goth goddess. It all depends on my mood!

Appreciate the video. Honestly I can’t justify paying 138.00 for a pair of corduroy pants. I just purchased two pair of corduroy pants at Torrid for roughly 10.00 each. I think one pair was 8.00. I’m very pleased with them a beautiful green and a gorgeous red color with button fly. For me it’s about getting the best I can get at a bargain price. ❤
Absolutely!! Those are amazing prices. You know I'm a bargain girl, but had so many pieces accumulated over the last several months from mystery boxes and such, I had to post a video. Back to the budget next week. XO

Great video. I actually really liked the olive green sweater. I've been really good with not buying too many clothes and even though these are really beautiful choices, I think I'll wait until Spring to buy more.

They have some of the best quality clothes I've tried on my channel. Wonderful pieces. Every once in awhile I'll get a dud, but it's rare. Best part is they wash well and last forever!
No mention of the sales? The long-sleeve Geneva, which usually retails for $138.00 - and is worth it, imo, as investment piece for those for whom time is literally $$, was steep discounted at the end of the year . . .

I have to say, I like to stay up on the trends but I can't wait for the high waist trend to go away! I am the antithesis of curvy. I am very straight from waist to hip so the high waist is not my friend. I am much more of a mid-rise chick. But they are really hard to find these days because of the trends. I do agree though that a jean and classic white shirt will never go out of style. Paired with a good trench coat, it's a classic!
Totally!! Most of my family feels the same way you do about mid-rise. In fact, I'm really the only tall girl except for my youngest daughter. Everyone else is 5'3'' and under, so high rise doesn't work for them.
The last time I looked, Maurice's jeans were 90% mid-rise and they have great quality jeans. XOXO
Funny this popped up, I just received my first Universal Standard order. It's an amazing jumpsuit. The fabric on the jumpsuit is amazing. I'll definitely be ordering again.

Hi my dear this is your Chicago lady all we’ve had some crazy weather too. It’s been real cold and then we got some snow and out today which is Friday the 23rd I believe that’s today we have rainy weather and we’re in the 40s next week they tell us we’re gonna be in the 50s, that’s just crazy but I love everything you showed and I have a popper jacket and I’m gonna tell you it is so warm I’m sorry it came across some. Those are 90's Illuminati card game cards. I bought them for my hubby many years ago and then put them in a frame. It's been there for awhile, but you can't really see it from other vantage points.
