Thank you Fr. for your excellent sermon and may God bless you. Father l read more than one sermons today regarding who goes to hell.
In one, it is said that a person goes to hell when he willfully rejects God even at the point of death. But even at the point of death if a person is in a mortal sin and if the person has a desire to confess the same but is unable to do so and straight away he asks for God's forgiveness at that point of death will he go to hell ? In this case he has not rejected God but due human weakness he dies in a mortal sin.
Secondly we all humans have sinned and come short of the glory of God. How can we be without venial sins and make our prayers ineffective for plenary indulgences ?
