Supernatural story follows two brothers (Sam and Dean Winchester) who are out to kill every evil thing in this world. When Dean was 4 yrs old and Sam only 6 months old; their mother (Mary) was killed, their father (John) was determined to find and kill the demon who killed his wife. Raising the boys as "HUNTERS" of all things evil. Their motto: SAVING PEOPLE, HUNTING THINGS, THE FAMILY BUSINESS. After John's death the boys continue the family business with the help of a few other hunters and Supernatural allies like the angel of the lord Castiel and king of h*ll Crowley, traveling cross country, killing as many monsters as possible and saving as many people as they can. And at the same time they learn that "Family don't end with blood". They will do whatever it takes to save each other and their "FAMILY". Going up against demons, vampires, werewolves, shapshifters, H*llhounds, Leviathans, Djinns, Ghouls, demigods, witches, Wraiths, Ghosts, Wendigos, spirits, Changelings, Jefferson Starships, Clowns, Scarecrow, the four horsemen, angels and even Archangels like Lucifer, Michael, Gabriel and Raphael among other things. They lose family and find new people they call family. They have gone to heaven and h*ll for each other and will do it all over again. Cause that's what FAMILY does and "Family don't end with blood". Follow the adventures of the awesome son of a bi*ch Dean Winchester and Sam Winchester who lost his shoe and is deathly afraid of clowns, on their journey to avert the next apocalypse and save the world. Don't forget the number 1 rule: No chick flick moments!

Ah yes, Back when Supernatural was about two brothers trying to find their father and settle the score with their mother's killer. Back when everything was kept mysterious and was left to the audience's imagination. When the show was about the things that go bump in the night and it was up to our boys to put a stop to them. Back when it was about driving through the darkest and grittiest parts of the country to save people and hunt things. Back when it was about salt and burn, dad's journal and exorcisms. Although I love Supernatural for what it is today but Season 1-5 has that charm that the later seasons lack.
Season 6 is still good, I mean, Raphael as the big bad makes sense, and the twist is awesome, seasons 7 and the rest, however...

The Nostalgia 😪🙂I agree, bro. seasons 1-3 are all equally as phenomenal in terms of Episode quality. 4 and 5 are up there too but 'Faith' Dead Man's blood. Asylum. Salvation. Something Wicked. Scarecrow. I could go on. Can't be beaten.
Where the Road began just has this charm even its exceptional follow ups couldn't have. SPN has the most perfect debut season of any show I've ever watched. Most of the biggest Series' have clunky first seasons compared to what they became once popular but not our show. Not Supernatural. It was gold from "Action" ;) 👌 Very nice work indeed, mate. Any excuse to fan boy out over This Fucking Masterpiece 😍

The asylum is perfect, it technically the kind of horror I want Sam and Dean to solve, vampire and werewolf are boring, the wendigo is awesome though.
@@Dirandra1506 Thank you! I am furious that we didn't get another Wendigo hunt in season 15!!! It would have been so easy and simple like it was in episode 2. That's why the therapeutic spin off I'm working on involves a Wendigo :D

They went from monster of the week to freaking evil God. I kind of wish the show had ended with the defeat of Lucifer. By the end of the series Dean had been a demon, a vampire, a ghost, Death, and a host to Michael.
The yellowed eyed demon was such a dark threatening character. By the end of the series he would have been wiped out with a sneeze.

PS. Absolutely FANTASTIC! The very first episode that truly spooked me was the one with the "Ghost In The Lake". THEN - the next season I think - it was the "SOMETHING WICKED" - the children's soul eater! ...and then the one that FREAKED ME OUT OF MY BRAINS - was the one about THAT DAMN PAINTING ON THE WALL! What was it..."Provenance"?... Jeesus! I just remembered the one with the fertility deity in middle of the orchard! AWESOME! ONCE AGAIN! BIG THANKS!
Remember being like 11 watching this for the first time on CW now im 24 how time flies. Same goes for the walking dead. Shows i watched from when i was a kid/teen to adult

Loved the first few season when it was about demons, ghost, vampires etc the dark creepy stuff. Then it got to the angels stuff not even a religious person but not a fan of the angel stuff.

I'm rewatching again the first years of this and I cannot stress this enough how much I'm ENJOYING IT! :) :) Ooooh, man! Back when there were no "angels&demons" yet, no "fate" or "apocalypse" - just "monsters&men" - "black&white" - when everything was much more simple, and SO DAMN BEAUTIFUL! Especially in THESE troubled times - MAN! - you have no idea how much I RELAX - believe it or not! - but tha's it - just watch GOOD SHOW and simply RELAX ON THE COUCH AFTER A DAYS WORK! :) :) PS. Plus - from week to week - month after month - would get restless! I couldn't wait to see WHAT THEIR NEXT CHALLENGE WOULD BE?! (...does that makes me - somehow "childish"???...).
