@@realkoko-loco it was a fantastic keyboard however mine turned up with a defective key so had to go back. I decided to wait until NAMM before replacing to see if anything else came along. I’ll pick up another one in a couple of weeks when I’ve finished decorating my room.
My Roland FP-E50 just came in and I'm still trying to get familiar with all of the features. It's definitely the best bang for your buck right now! Can you upload a tutorial video on how to navigate through all of the features in the FP-E50?
Maybe in this case, less is more? That Roland is so big, that it's looking like coming from the 50s. To me, ugly! Sound wise the Roland might win, but I would prefer the Casio and hook it up to a computer / laptop as a controller and then the piano sounds from the unit itself. I like the warm tones it gives.
that maltese falcon seems like a cool dude bro I'm in the market to get my first roland digital piano, and while I would be just fine with a Fp30x I just can't see how just for a few hundred more the FpE50 is a better value? It has 2 sound engines and expandable etc, I don't suppose the Fp30x is compatible with Roland cloud expansion kits right?

I'd go for the Casio because of the piano and design and size..I don't need all the bells and whistles of the FP...I wonder if any Roland user after the initial euphoria of having so many patches actually uses 5 percent of them after a few months..

Just fat effects have tempted me for 40 years. Jump, Van Halen? But that worked! Why? Because it was the musical idea, not just the sound. Fancy sounds and drum beats? They're alluring, and usually a dead end!

YO! Why the casio PX S5000 and not the Privia PX-3100? The 3100 has 700 sounds and would have been a better comparison?
5000 has much better sample quality and better action

I really like the Casio piano sound! It sounds deeper than the Roland one.

That Roland has a rather unpleasant form factor - far too 'tall' somehow - like a big black kerb stone.

Obviously the Roland wins hands down but the Casio is a beginners tool i think just bread and butter.
