I actually don't play Dota anymore, I just enjoy your content. I started watching when I was trying to compare a lot of different MOBAs and their difference in design. The rants (both about and not about dota) are often very interesting to me and I liked them so much, I stayed interested (though I also enjoyed the other games you made yourself like Sweet dreams Alex and Disastles)

I actually got into Dota, because pro league games were boring and twitch recommended me BTS. One thing they did great at the time (around TI 3) is explain strategies and mechanics which helped me a lot.

VERY rough math on when the fountain would have killed Baumi

Bristleback backdooring in the second game was iconic.

The magic for me, while learning dota, was doing just that. Figuring out which hero goes against which, and trying to connect the logical links between what streamers said and what's going on in the game. I could see why it's not a beginner friendly game though, hahah I had to replay some clips 10 times to understand it fully... Thanks Baumi for the years of experience and knowledge!

I can definitely agree with your sentiment about commentary, i never play dota so a lot of the time i have the dota wiki open when watching your videos to know what characters actually do.

Good point regarding the commentary of pro matches. As you said, they either explain that "fortify prevents buildings from taking damage for a brief period of time" or point out that it was super obvious that void spirit mid is doing some super peculiar managing of his lane at minute 3 against wind ranger because of the meta. That is they either address Herald 3 and less or leaderboard 150 and above. Pardon my exaggeration.

Love these nonsense game modes. Always satisfy that "what if" curiosity that sits there in the back of the mind, also just the complete bullS that comes about from simple fun modes like this.

The SF example you gave would be useful. Just honestly curious how many times they can say it in a tournament before people get sick of hearing it. So if a hero is popular this kinda stuff can easily become a problem. I feel this kinda info would work well in discussions between rounds/games or during picking phase. Then when something strange happens in a game, they explain that instance better

Math says baumi would've needed to stay in the fountain for about 10 minutes to get killed by it lmao

How did no one pick necrophos first game? I feel like a 1% damage aura x10 would be strong.
