I find killing traitor scavs to be massively helpful for my rep. I did not get >6.0 rep in 4 days or anything, but I got above 1.0 very quickly. Went from 3 extract locations to 6 on most maps, which is what I really wanted.
I thought I was gonna go help a scav at tunnel last night, rolled up to that bunker near the road by the beaches ship and he had all the pmc gear on already and I absolutely smoked him. Sorry buddy.

On my first scav raid this wipe, went to Customs, got attacked by two player scavs. Barely beat them (all 4 blacked limbs), but got 0.27 Fence rep when I finally limped to the extract... Makes me wonder how many scavs they got before me...
They were probably new players, i remember when i first played i knew little of the game pior and killed all other scavs on sight not knowing it affected anything

I kinda thought that you get a reward for however many other scavs the traitor scavs killed, and there were quite a lot of bodies at the Customs dorms... but in reality - who the heck knows... maybe a new wipe bug, maybe something else...

Just a note on Factory extracts, the run through status still applies to scavs so you need to wait until 13 mins remaining to avoid it (20 minute raid, with 7 minute run through timer). If you spawn with something that sells really well on the flea remember to sit in a corner and wait.

It was just cz of the wipe hype. Servers were overcrowded. Last wipe it took me 2 min to load in on scav... this wipe, the early days about 15 min (solo que) duo que no issues....but the timers are nearly fixed again, at least for me.. 3 to 4 min loading time.

in my experience, the easiest way to use the co op extracts is to just speak up and Voip when you think you hear a PMC around. i havent had a negative interaction with any PMC that i could hear before they saw me. 🤷♂
aren't you lucky, pmcs just trash talk me and shoot me if i try to tell them i'm friendly drop my weapon hit surfaces with my melee they're like "oooh 200xp". idk personally i'd rather have a chance at a random keycard from fence >.>

i've killed a guy in factory with a nade, and got +0.15 rep as boss assistance. While the boss wasn't even nearhim. Or atleats i couldn't find him cuz an another P scav killed me.
been spamming scavs trying to convince people on coop extracts. ive played heavily on both NA only, and NA + Europe servers, NA only is VASTLY easier to convince people to coop extract for whatever reason. The problem lies in which you value more, easier time finding cooperative people, or the que times. NA only can sometimes take my reserve ques into the 20+ minutes whereas NA + EU will make it less than 2minutes sometimes. But EU people for whatever reason will just shoot you 80% of the time compared to NA people its usually 50/50 OR they will just say no but wont shoot you and tell you to just leave. just my 2 cents in experience.
It's the same when you play a competitive game like CSGO. NA is pretty much just one language, we have tens of them. People don't speak the same language, have problems with other nationalities, etc etc...
Make passage between rocks, military railroad, or military cp one since there's 3 acav exits right there and not a single pmc exit on that side of the map if u spawned on big red/smugglers side

So my issue is that scav karma has hardly any use rn seeing mostly all the stuff fence sells is generated and not actually gotten from raids some is but mostly all is randomly generated on top of that the games such a grind now it’s not worth it
I mean, you get some pretty useful bonuses with low scav karma, like since I got 1 karma I never got into a raid without a bag for example, which REALLY helps when you need the money, and since I got 2 karma I've been spawning consisntently with better loot (AKs with scope, keycards, car batteries, T20 and pilgrim bags, better ammo, I even spawned with a tank battery once)

What is your method to doing the lighthouse car extract since it's right next to the rogue camp? Do you kill the rogues or can you just do it without getting shot?

This is when you go in negative. The legit DAILY quest are stupid asf. Extract with 10 drinks for example or 10 electronics. It's so hard and they give you like 0.3
Before readying invite someone to group then hit ready right away they don't have to join. This puts you into a group with nobody and gets into raids faster

The thing is there is no reason for trigger discipline in Tarkov at least not during an intense action. First one to shoot usually kills. Also, a lot of PMCs trying to disguise as Santa rn. And ofc there is the rule of "there is always one more," so when he decides to show up in the middle of your fight you can't spend time to make sure he is not a PMC in disguise. I'm betting on the fact that all your Santa sightings were during calm situations where he was chilling around with other Scavs and was easily noticeable.
There are way too many ways to lose a lot of rep for how little rep we get for being good. Yea half of it is car extracts. But its just stupid that I can spam 300 more raids for 6.0 rep and one mistake can take away 10 of those raids, because a scav looked like a PMC. A 0.3 second split second decision shouldn't need 2 hours of gameplay to fix. If we got 0.02 or even 0.03 per raid it would be so much easier to not be mad when some dumb shit happens.

My Fence task after building the intel centre was to find 3 throwables in raid and extract with them, no rep reward, literally just some buckshot and like 70 euro lol..
I have come across player scavs on my pmc wiggling at me by the co op exfils before. I was pretty new though and only realize now what they were trying, I feel bad having killed them but also I’ve been lied to and killed so many times in this game I’m pretty sure they would have killed me lol

I got -1.65 rep with fence and it’s very hard to get it back up even spamming factory and trying to get PMC is very difficult for me bc I can never find anyone just bots
He tracked me down on Interchange just for pivoting when I heard him on the hallway, he definitely attacks PMC. These folks are saying you get really negative rep for killing him as a SCAV I believe.

Ya it isn't possible with queue times, he obviously is getting way faster queue times than us. He even said he cancels his raid if he's too far from extract..... But we wait 20 min queue to quit?
this depends of a lot of things, first what map are u trying it ? second which timer ? night or day ? third, wich server are u on ? If u answer me to those : street, day and america or europe, then yeah no wonder u got long ass timer, everybody is doing the same thing xD u need a pmc to create a lobby to be able to play scav, if there is not enough lobby then u'll have to wait for very long, im in europe, and usually i do interchange, at day, take me around 5 min to get in, because everyone already knows this map and is not trying to learn it by spamming scav on it :D
I've read that if another player scav harms another scav he is considered a traitor scav and therefore you shouldn't recieve any penanlty for killing them. I got attacked by two player scavs who killed my friend, i shot and killed the guy that shot my friend and only proceeded to kill his teammate when he hit me with a bullet, and i still recieved a -0.2 reduction which sucks, so either its a bug or otherwise the EFT wiki is wrong :/
One of my friends has a really bad habit of getting in fights with scavs because he automatically sprays down player scavs that shoot at him, as a result I'm sitting at negative 0.42 with fence due to having to give a few to many scavs an unplanned haircut, fml lmao
Another method that I like to do is shoot at other scavs but not hit them and let them shoot me first so they become a traitor scav, then they become free real estate
They didn't used to shoot you if you shot near them, I used to do that sometimes cause I didn't know if one was a PMC. Shoot near their feet, if they started shooting I'd assume PMC and shoot back. Did that just start this wipe??
Most people know what you're doing and won't shoot you. I think pretending to be PMC is much better... E.g. shoot at them from a long distance, especially if you have a helmet or can get a all-black / green / gear look on your scav. If you have a bright red mask or scav backpack etc. throw it out. They might just think you're a PMC
I've been bullying players on OCE servers. I ask them to help me with a fence task saying I need to extract with a fractured arm. Once they shoot me or melee my arm it's and EZ extra .01 rep :)

Starting with a 20min cooldown and a 30 min lobby wait, car extracts are the only reason I have any karma at all.

Idk i play an average of2-3h in the night + whatever the weekend allows (I work Saturdays to) and I’m lvl 22. Tbh it’s more of a skill gap

But its just stupid that I can spam 300 more raids for 6.0 rep and one mistake can take away 10 of those raids, because a scav looked like a PMC. A 0.3 second split second decision shouldn't need 2 hours of gameplay to fix. If we got 0.02 or even 0.03 per raid it would be so much easier to not be mad when some dumb shit happens.

My Fence task after building the intel centre was to find 3 throwables in raid and extract with them, no rep reward, literally just some buckshot and like 70 euro lol..

I have come across player scavs on my pmc wiggling at me by the co op exfils before. I was pretty new though and only realize now what they were trying, I feel bad having killed them but also I’ve been lied to and killed so many times in this game I’m pretty sure they would have killed me lol
I just got the game at the wipe and I thgoht you just kill event thing that moves so until my friend told me I killed so many scavs off to a bad start.

Using this guide just because i accidentally killed santa on my first raids
I got -1.65 rep with fence and it’s very hard to get it back up even spamming factory and trying to get PMC is very difficult for me bc I can never find anyone just bots
I can not find a single co-op extract on interchange or woods, reserve happens but the other maps are dead in those locations.

He tracked me down on Interchange just for pivoting when I heard him on the hallway, he definitely attacks PMC. These folks are saying you get really negative rep for killing him as a SCAV I believe.

They don't say a peep. I pivot with one around a corner, still have binaural hearing on, thought he was in front of me. Turn around, Santa head-eyes me!!! He doesn't attack PMCs openly???

I can't even get into raids as scav, literally had 30 minute wait times earlier today.
Ya it isn't possible with queue times, he obviously is getting way faster queue times than us. He even said he cancels his raid if he's too far from extract..... But we wait 20 min queue to quit?
@@johnjohnnston3498q time are around 10 mins. There was a point where q times was just 2 mins for scav thsi wipe. Also depends on your servers
this depends of a lot of things, first what map are u trying it ? second which timer ? night or day ? third, wich server are u on ? If u answer me to those : street, day and america or europe, then yeah no wonder u got long ass timer, everybody is doing the same thing xD u need a pmc to create a lobby to be able to play scav, if there is not enough lobby then u'll have to wait for very long, im in europe, and usually i do interchange, at day, take me around 5 min to get in, because everyone already knows this map and is not trying to learn it by spamming scav on it :D
I will probarly just do all car extracts few times and then wait 1 month and do it again

I've read that if another player scav harms another scav he is considered a traitor scav and therefore you shouldn't recieve any penanlty for killing them. I got attacked by two player scavs who killed my friend, i shot and killed the guy that shot my friend and only proceeded to kill his teammate when he hit me with a bullet, and i still recieved a -0.2 reduction which sucks, so either its a bug or otherwise the EFT wiki is wrong :/

One of my friends has a really bad habit of getting in fights with scavs because he automatically sprays down player scavs that shoot at him, as a result I'm sitting at negative 0.42 with fence due to having to give a few to many scavs an unplanned haircut, fml lmao

Another method that I like to do is shoot at other scavs but not hit them and let them shoot me first so they become a traitor scav, then they become free real estate

They didn't used to shoot you if you shot near them, I used to do that sometimes cause I didn't know if one was a PMC. Shoot near their feet, if they started shooting I'd assume PMC and shoot back. Did that just start this wipe??
Most people know what you're doing and won't shoot you. I think pretending to be PMC is much better... E.g. shoot at them from a long distance, especially if you have a helmet or can get a all-black / green / gear look on your scav. If you have a bright red mask or scav backpack etc. throw it out. They might just think you're a PMC
I've been bullying players on OCE servers. I ask them to help me with a fence task saying I need to extract with a fractured arm. Once they shoot me or melee my arm it's and EZ extra .01 rep :)
