The Alabama Crimson Tide is one of the most historic college football programs in the nation. In my humble opinion, it is the greatest program, as it boasts the most titles in the modern era and has produced a significant number of All-Americans, NFL draftees, and Heisman Trophy winners. The coaching staff is impressive as well. If you are fortunate enough to witness a game, consider your life fulfilled. ROLL TIDE!!! 🐘

“I’m walking here!” is a quote from Midnight Cowboy where Dustin Hoffman’s character is nearly hit by a cab while in a crosswalk. Supposedly, it was an ad lib not a scripted part of the scene, Hoffman was just nearly hit by a car while filming on the NYC streets and that was how he responded.

    6:00 California has:
    1. The highest mountain peak in the contiguous US (Mount Whitney)
    2. The lowest point in the entire hemisphere (Badwater Basin, Death Valley National Park)
    3. The oldest living tree on Earth ("Methuselah," bristlecone pine, White Mountains)
    4. The largest tree on Earth by height ("Hyperion," coast redwood, Redwoods National Park)
    5. The largest tree on Earth by volume ("General Sherman," giant sequoia, Sequoia National Park)
    6. The hottest temperature ever recorded on Earth (134 F/ 57 C, Furnace Creek, Death Valley National Park)
    7. The largest economy of the United States (GDP $3.9 trillion)
    8. The largest population of the United States (38.9 million)
    9. The deepest canyon in the United States (King's Canyon, 8200 feet, that's right - the deepest is not Hell's Canyon or the Grand Canyon)
    10. The most national parks of any US state (9)
A lot of people say California is ruined by the dumb people, but that's not (entirely) true. No place on Earth has such a huge variety of attractions, both natural and man-made, in such a small area as California does. It is a tough place to live because of the prices, but it is definitely the most exciting state to visit

I think this is partly because in the North East and Midwest Professionals Football (NFL) is a lot more popular. They have a longer history of NFL in those cities up there and alot more teams. While in the South a lot of cities don’t have NFL teams are there teams are alot newer than the ones up North.

Now, we do tend to have good pecan pie but again, you can find bad pecan pie here too. Obviously not everyone can cook well and we do have northern transplants(its a joke. Im joking.).
Ive lived in Arkansas. Yes Bill Clinton came from there and WalMart was begun there. Is everyone obese? Of course not. Are some people? Obviously. It is quite beautiful in parts of Arkansas. In other parts, its all farmland. The Mississippi river valley is very very fertile and so there are lots of farms(think of how the Nile river had lots of farms on river banks). Are the people nice? Yeah, some. Others arent. Meth is an issue and its overall quite religious. But its also pretty laidback and theres lots to do if you enjoy nature.

I'm not much of a sports person at all, and I honestly didn't even know that people followed college teams the same way they do real...er, I mean, professional ones until I married a southerner, and frankly, the whole thing still sort of cracks me up. Disney World is in Florida has 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, and 30+ hotels. Disneyland is in California, they have 2 theme parks but it is the original (quality over quantity)

@philmocracken179 New Hampshire, as a state, has no income tax, no gun laws (excpet common sense background checks, needing a permit to carry a handgun which only costs ten dollars, and not just giving a gun to a minor (though they can still go and buy one)) , less firework laws than Maine, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Texas, no jaywalking laws, no knife laws, you don't need a helmet on a motorcycle, no seatbelt over 18, AND it is literally baked into our consitution since 1784 that if the state gov is ever not serving the people, that the people have the right and obligation to overthrow said government. The only big thing I can think of that is illegal (besides federally restricted items such as controlled substances) is marijuana for recreational use, and even then, the cops will ignore it unless you are flashing it around/someone calls it in.
Sure, we have crazies in government, like some cops and some board members, however if you bring them before a court, it gets tossed out. )Or, in the case of the dept of Transportation trying to change the slogan, the governor slaps it down and publicly rebukes them for trying to pull backroom stunts)
Freest state is subjective, sure, but I like to think my state holds the cake

@ I got you. I appreciate that. But I was talking about your everyday New Hampshire residents. For some reason a lot of them think it’s illegal to record in public or government buildings such as the post offices and call the cops because “you aren’t allowing to film here”

I live in Ohio, halfway between Columbus and Cleveland. We're very much "average" and it's relatively inexpensive to live here. Very plain and boring in the grab scheme of things outside of train derailments.
We also got all the Amish people and drugs that couldn't fit in Pennsylvania 😬

I don’t understand the thumb mail? Oregon is technically the gayest (lgbt) state, WA DC is the gayest city, New York has the most gay rights, and Hawaii is the gayest (happiness) state.
