Love a swirly Afwall from the 1960's. They got rid of the swirl in the 1970's and made it straight flushing.

Yeah and I really like both 1960's and 1970's Afwall, but I really want find Kohler Kingston in the college!

They never got rid of the swirl on the Afwalls. The straight flush model was the Glenco and that has a different design.

Interesting. They built my new high school in 1969-1970 and these terlits were exactly what they used with either 5 gpf or 3.5 gpf. They never swirled. So I just assumed they made a design change and straightened out the rim holes and made it straight flushing. This IS confusing! Why would they have a bowl with same trapway looking identical and one swirl and one not...? So you're saying it was a Glenco and not an Afwall...?

@@jbsimmons54 Yep, those would be Glencos. They're actually pretty easy to tell apart from Afwalls of the time; if you look at it sideways from above (it may help to lift the toilet seat), if the bowl has a fish shape to it, it's a Glenco. These Afwalls don't have any such fish shape as you can see here.

Oh yay you did get to this one!
Those Dolphins were unexpected the first time I found those too. Hell, I somehow wouldn't be surprised if these were the original flushometers throughout the building before new Sloans killed most of them.
Yep, a good chunk of those Afwalls are still powerful too to no shock!

Unusual to find 8 terlits and 10 urinals in men's room. Usually the terlits are half the number of urinals. This is a well designed and placed restroom. You find this in a place with high people density. Was this a college, high school, park, or stadium?

Yeah that a lot of men's room have 3 different restroom in one place, I filmed 2 out of 3 men's room, this is an Miami university Millett Hall arena.

This building is an arena, hence the large amount of fixtures. There's a bunch of these restrooms throughout the building, all of them like this. It's gotten a few minor updates to add ADA accessible restrooms, but other than that it's pretty much still intact from when it was built in the late 60's.
