- This is the story of Steven “Lefty” Breeding. At 13, Stevie lost his right arm in a horrific car accident. But through skateboarding, Lefty was able to turn this traumatic event into a real source of positivity in his life. Watch this short film and get hyped.

Even if he had a prosthetic I wouldnt wear it skating. Thise things arent cheap. Manuals with 1 arm is impressive. Alot use their arms for balance, like a high wire Walker uses a pole

In a weird way, the way a disability happens can effect you differently. The fact he could have died in that accident leaves him grateful, even if he lost an arm. Thankful for what you have left. Now what if he were born with one arm? Could have a totally diff look out

I don't know where I'd be without skateboarding.
I've seen lefty shred for 15 years now..first time I every went to OB park at age 14..and I remember him skating by with just 1 arm, made me just realize that life shouldn't be full of excuses as to why you cant do something. The saying should be "everything is possible".not anything.. thank you for all the years of skate growth. Keep shredding

Imagine you feel so shitty and miserable about yourself that you see something like this and it makes you mad enough to take time out to hate on it. Anyway this dude is awesome! A lot of people would let something like this destroy them. He decided to accept it, own it, and embrace it! And I'm sure that is what has brought him not only peace but a tremendous amount of wisdom and understanding of what it means to be alive. Mad props to him!

I wondered the same thing. I think if they would have died they would have said so.
The reality is if they had survived he would have mentioned them as being a part his inspiration. He said his brother ended up on the other side of the street. That’s like 80 feet... 😢
He said in an interview a few years back that they all survived
they all survived and are thriving :)

Thank you for this Video. I started skating with 11 years but i had to stop with 13 because of a Tumor inside my neck. After the operation my left arm and my left leg was paralysed and they need to make my neck stiff. I learned how to move around again without a wheelchair but my left arm is still paralysed. Now i am almost 31 and i want to start skating again, slowly but i am sure i belongs on a Skateboard but i am to afraid. Your video showed me what is possible and gave me some energy 🙏 but in the same way it looks really bad when you fell down but you are a powerful person, you do what you love!
