Yeah, she was great. It is obvious that most of her humour is pre written jokes, but they are so well written and she tells them so brilliantly that they never seems atall glib.
@@guykruger1 Does making jokes about the Tories' appalling job at running the country for a decade, and sheer hypocrisy count as "too much agenda" now?
I randomly looked if HIGNFY was on again, and praise the Lord- it's back! And just in time for my friday evening auntie mini spa 🙀😻 And I've got three episodes to revel on at that ☺️ Thank's from Sweden!
Everyone bang on their game in this one, hard to pick a favourite. The show's strength lies in its simple, timeless format and of course, Paul and Ian still razor-sharp after all these years.
Loving this in Adelaide - "a bit more" especially. We missed the intro Ian referenced in the earlier charitable contributions. I'm now praying Mock of the Week gets a go so we get a fair crack at Pommy news...
Not intelligent enough to understand that most people who actually make things have to drive to work and that the materials has to be transported to their place of work... She wouldn't understand that because she's a bit disconnected from the 60% of the adult populace who makes her existence possible.
Those drivers following the 'petrol tanker' must be thick coz: a, it didnt have the fuel hazmat markings on it; b, it dosnt look like a fuel carrying lorry and c, it doesnt have Shell/Texaco/BP written on it. Basically, we'll randomly follow any lorry we first see and assume its a tanker.
We need truck drivers in the USA. Lots of work does not pay well enough to attract workers... Raising wages seems outside the realm of the imaginations of those trying to solve the problem.

I particularly love the "we warned everyone 10 years ago" bit. Did you warn everyone that if you dont pay for something - you dont receive it ? What an amazing concept ! Paying for stuff !
So, the cheese woman has the same outfit, while making similar weird statements talking about opening new pork markets. Also when will she say "We import X% of our pork. That is a disgrace!"

Last time I was in England I had to cancel all my planned visits to friends to conserve enough fuel to get back to France again (where miraculously in spite of assurances to the contrary by johnson, there have been no shortages at all, of anything)
I don't know if it's the same episode, but Bill Bailey was host, and he played the closing theme on his cheesy little synth. It's such a busy and chaotic theme. I didn't know how he could do it, but he pulled it off, and it was brilliant. (I'm afraid I don't get the Mr. Dogshit reference.)
@@beenaplumber8379 Mr. Dogshit had a remix of the theme on their Soundcloud account. I only discovered HIGNFY a few months ago and I've seen many of the old ones too. All I can say is that they stick it to whoever is in power, ruthlessly.

As soon as I heard about Liz Truss being elected PM, I immediately thought about the cheese clip. "They elected the cheese lady?"
They never elected her.
Excellent program this week. Must be the lack of bias …
Ria is hilarious! I hope they bring her on regularly, maybe as a host as well?
