Fishing and bird spotting at Bigipan (Suriname - Nickerie)

Bigi Pan is a nature protected area located on the west coast of Suriname and has a size of 68.000 ha. Big Pan, which means Big Lake, is an area formed out of creeks, mangroves and swamps. This area is a rich feeding source for more than 120 different bird species, who migrate from the north to escape the cold winters. The most famous bird at Bigi Pan is the Red Ibis. Besides birds the area is also rich in fish and reptiles

Hi love this video from beginning to the end, very interesting,my father planted rice, pulling the boat across the dam, our dam wasn’t sooo wide,lots of guests with you,I never saw houses for camping in lake before, do they get flooded,the birds are beautiful, didn’t know Pelican and Flamingos were in South America, nice.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤.

Arvi.....heb genoten van deze vid. Voor de zovele jaren dat ik in SU woon, heb ik nooit de bigi pangs met eigen ogen gezien. Ben wel een keer geweest in de zwampen van Margitha.
Ons land heeft echt veel natuurschoon. Jammer dat niet iedereen dat zo ziet en ermee omgaat.
Mooie trip geweest bro.
Je bent hard op weg ook naar 5K. Heb je channel gedeeld onder familie en vrienden om mee te helpen je de 5K te halen.

Just a shame you were chasing and disturbing those flamingos with your drone. You try that shit on my side of the world, you get fined and all your gear (including your boat) get confiscated by the wild life authorities. At least you practice catch and release. Big step for a Surinamer...
