The now defunct Rip Tide top spin at Knott's Berry Farm on August 31st, 2014.

I'm so happy that I finally get to share this video with all of you.
what you are watching is the now sadly defunct Rip Tide at Knott's Berry Farm. I recorded this video back on August 31st, 2014.
Rip Tide was floorless top spin with two rows of seats one row facing forwards, and the other facing backwards.
This ride sent you on a wild ride full of flips.
and you had to have an iron stomach to survive it countless flips upside down. During its first two years of operation the rides fountains actually got you wet. unfortunately that had to stop most like to stop the premature aging of the ride's mechanical parts.
Unfortunately due to constant mechanical problems it spent most of 2015 closed. Sadly this attraction was removed from the park in early 2016.
