I've found that The Spirit rejoices when trouble comes because it knows that God has to show up and honor His Word, but flesh freaks out at the sight of trouble because it feels defeated and it turns to fleshly pleasures to ease the pain. No matter Your struggle(s), be it sin, be it money, following Christ or family, trust/believe His Word. For He is Alert and Active, watching over His Word to perform it.
