I dont care if your voice is funny or rare (like some people say), because is your style, I respect it... and the most important is the info that you are sharing with us... Nice video!
this is 2020 and still your videos are releveant and concise to the point with great examples , i have been struggling to understand threads now its getting clear and clearer i have watched all your previous videos on threads you simply put a problem and solve it which makes things understandale thank u so much
I am from Germany and love the "forced accent". I am actually kind of sick of only hearing indish accents when browsing for android videos, no offence.
Hi slidenerd, I have watched many tutorial videos but yours are one of the best. The animations are simple and perfect. The voice and style of speaking is very good. Editing is excellent, all time consuming and mundane tasks are bypassed. We also learn a great deal about other aspects associated with the main learning motive in a video. The Bam! you do when the mission is accomplished is something I wait for. Love you guys, the tutorials are easy to grasp and they don't waste precious time. One more thing, I haven't noticed any arrrs and ammmms while you speak, I love it. Keep posting.
+Niket Singh thanks, you dont notices aaaaaas and mmmmmmms because i edit them out lol, i hate it when others do it in their videos so i avoid them in mine, if you would like to receive updates on more free stuff as I release them, you can subscribe to my email list at designcoder.io thanks
slidenerd first of all this is the first time i have understood communication between threads , all thanks to your excellent series . i have two question if you can answer them : 1) say we have an app that is downloading images in a list view , so we will have multiple objects of the ImageDownloader class and each of them will be sending message to the handler of the UI-thread regarding the progress of download . How will the Handlemessage know which instance send that progress. 2)Why main Thread does not require Looper object to handle the message queue ?
pulkit tyagi well for 1) most of them should support a unique identifier to do so, if they dont, then dont use threads, go for more sophisticated solutions like AsyncTask, retrofit or volley 2)main thread is the daddy for everyone, it has a looper btw stackoverflow.com/questions/6558786/get-main-threads-message-queue-and-handler
Wonderful tutorial, very useful.. putting out of misery.. could have used normal tone/voice instead of trying so hard to sound like something different, though it is not a major issue.. However very neat explanation.. well done dude...
+Бейбут Тукибаев thank you, if you are more curious and want to learn how to both design and code a nice android app from scratch and publish it on playstore, check this series out goo.gl/m3czB1
NTWARI SHYAKA Aimé Greetings From slidenerd, We are glad to see you learnt something out of that video. But hey, don't stop because we certainly haven't stopped making videos :) We'll be adding many more subjects and in depth tutorials on a lot of technologies and APIs in the upcoming times. Be sure to tell your friends, colleagues to join us at slidenerd.com and our newest site tutorialsprogramming.com , Let Intelligence Be Your Only Keyword and hey! have a nice day :) Thanks
Sir, can i ask you what do you mean by "need only one Handler object per activity, and no need to register it", it is a process/activity automatically comes with a main thread handler? can i use method like "Handler handler = getHandler();" to instantiate a handler object?
Sir Ur tutorials is very gud .. i have learnt lots of thing from ur videos .. i have a request to u .plz make a video regards how to connect android with remote database like (php/mysql).
+Waleed hassan thanks if you arent enrolled to our awesome courses, give us a 5 star rating for the same right here www.udemy.com/u/vivekramesh2/ thanks in advance :)
Very well explained thanks a lot!! Can you please explain the situations where we can use threads, handlers and AsynTask or you can probably make a video on it.Thanks :)
I can barely see many people are commenting on this tuitor's voice or slang. I believe we are here to learn Android and not English or how to speak English. He may not speak in a good way but he put all his efforts to teach Android. Respect him if not you can very well goto other channel. Don't demotivate one's talent with your shit comment.
I think you are doing a wonderful job of providing free education. But one sincere advice, try not to force an accent. That is the biggest challenge I face in going through your videos. Many times, the viewers on your video will have motives other than casual learning and the forced accent can just put-off that mindset. Speak in your usual manner and I think you will see a lot better response.
There's a pattern here Nick. From the audio, the guy is clearly an Indian. A lot of Indians try to force their accent. No offense meant, but what they think they sound like and what they actually sound like are often poles apart.
I do not have any problem with his accent. If you have your way, I know you will want him to use only HINDI because that's how selfish some of you can be.
great job with the videos. The only reason I can't watch many in a row is that you modulate you voice too much. Sometimes you talk at a normal pitch and sometimes your just shouting into the mic. It's almost impossible to set the correct volume. Please work on that.
Bhai Cricket Commentary nahi dena hai aapko aaraam se samjhaana hai... koi maarega nahi aapko galat bola bhi to... Apne aap ko itna torture mat karo bhai mujhe dukh lagta hai.. waise tutorial acha hai aapka.
i always get directly to the point, and dont compare me with anyone, everyone has different skill sets, different motives and origin.and yes I am not the NEWBOSTON, i am SLIDENERD!!!
slidenerd Bucky(TheNewBoston) is a great tutor and so is Vivz... both have their own way of teaching.. and the best part is they are giving free education.. such a noble cause.. even Bucky would appreciate Vivz's effort and vice versa.. I have learnt from both the channels and i can't thank all you guys enough for these great videos.. Really appreciate your effort.. Thanks a lot for those great tutorials.. Keep up the good work.

I am from Germany and love the "forced accent". I am actually kind of sick of only hearing indish accents when browsing for android videos, no offence.

Since your first tutorial about looper I always imagine it as office employee man in my office department :D

Hello vivz are you there :D
is there a #11 part 2? why does it say part 1?
+bmgag19 i ll rename all the videos , sorry about that mate, the names have gotten a bit trickier
Did it throw anyone else off when slide nerd said "Shit" at 8:40? Nothing against swearing but I wasn't expecting it.
Josh Loschen rofl, i ll keep that in mind before i make my IOS series :D
slidenerd You English is good but you're pronouncing words that end with "age" totaly wrong. Letter 'a' in "message" is pronaunced like 'i' in "big"
why u use so much irritating over phonetics ?
You made it more confusing to me.
You're right, I don't get it!!! That's why I'm here!!!!

this uy is great, and i am digging his accent XD!!

Nice explanation.. but why cant you speak noramally??
CUZ COOL THAT's WHY !! XD WATCHERRRRRRSSSS
