Great set up, i have a similar exhaust system. Its works ok but i find it doesn't move enough of the steam and you will get dripping back into your BK, When I have the cash ill probably upgrade to a proper condensate hood.
Yeah I noticed there was some drip back. It wasnt anything crazy but still there. The vent must false advertise the 400 cfm because that is apparently more than enough for a 5500w element.
Nice, was watching your rip videos and noticed the Spike videos, you a fellow wisconsinite? We got this same Spike setup for our test batch system, except I designed the electrical panel and programmed a plc and touch screen. Kind of pointless, but it looks cool lol.
@@zambriczki18 nice, just heard the other day we're probably getting their conical fermenter and Spike wants to do a video with our setup, see when that happens. I still remember stopping in a brew store and seeing the Spike Brew kettle, it was just a local college guy welding in a garage back then. Happy brewing, cheers
TheElectricBrewery.com ships worldwide out of Maine USA (so technically not a Canadian company). I (Kal Wallner) am the owner of TheElectricBrewery.com and am from Canada, but nothing gets shipped out of Canada. It's too cold up here. ;) We've been selling and shipping our control panels / kits worldwide since 2009. Cheers!
Beautiful. Really thinking getting this exact system myself, thanks for sharing
Nice system Dude! I hope to be there soon. Cheers from Lancaster Pa.🍻
I just wish I could get Spike system in my country. Cheers

I would love to see it in action.

Sweet! I wish it was available in Norway (220V).
To clarify this control panel is not made by TheElectricBrewery.com. It is in no way affiliated with TheElectricBrewery.com
It's not the Electric Brewery,,, the panel is made by The Electric Brewing Supply in northern Michigan,,, Electric Brewery is a Canadian company
I'll correct that thank you
