I feel like when doing memorisation try to learn tajweed on the side cuz memorising mistakes is gonna be hard to undo in the future so before you memorise make sure it is correct and has proper tajweed. Please invest in a teacher they can help u soo much
Bro I read Quran daily and I have to admit that I had NEVER depression, anxiety and so on, when I read my daily Quran. When I Read my Quran, Nothing can Beat me. But this only counts, if you Pray 5 times a day. Because if you pray the Morning Prayer, Allah will Protect you the whole day, as it is said in a Hadith. So with praying the morning prayer and reading my daily Quran, I feel mentally unbeatable.

It’s so true “Contentment is the greatest door that one enters to Allah, it is the source of tranquility for the worshiper and paradise on earth. Whoever does not enter it will not enter the Paradise in the Hereafter” ibn Taymiyyah.
I started my hifz journey. الحمدلله The most important thing is to set a time you memorize like after fajr prayer for example, it is the best time for me. Second is to know the meaning of ayat (verses).
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته Maybe I can give you few important aspects that I learned as far in my Journey too Alhamdulillah. 1. I personally wouldnt suggest you too memorize 2h and review 30min. You should give you a maximum of 1h for memorizing, or memorize the amount that takes you normally 1h. Im not saying it to slow you down but more to wore your brain to give your selve that fixed portion in that fixed zime so that your memorization ability increases with time and you start to memorize pages in 20-30min. 2. You revision should be the main aspect of your hifdh, maybe now its managable with 30min a day but In sha Allah if you reach 10 juz for example, it will be contraproductive and your memorization of old pahes will weaken. A lot of people that nearly finished hifdh, stopped completly when realizing that all the work that was done has to be done again. I personally would recommend you to trying to review everything you memorized every day so that you get used to the amount of ajza that you will review later on in a daily basis and strenghten the first ajza extremly, but that may be too much so its better to atleast have the objective of finishing everything that was memorized in 7 days, therefore everyday reviewing the amount needed to complete everything in a week, that may be those 30min everyday, but If you can try to go higher and finish in 5 or 3 days etc. 3. I suppose you have a teacher, If not then you should try to find one as far as possible as it is essential for having someone that controls you face to face, so that you have a sense of responsibility. Or atleast find someone than you can read to and that can correct mistakes made in memorization 4. The time of memorization. Find the perfect time, try out new things and new methods on how to find your optimal environment and state. For me its right after fajr or when sleepy after waking up immediatly. And also what you est before memorizing has an effect on it. For me its better If I dont eat nothing. In sha Allah that helped, I could say a few more things but they are very detailed and hard to explain. If you want we can communicate private so that I can explain to you, how to attain higher memorization speed and strenghtening new pages to a good level etc.

Take note of what is holding you back. Social media is a big part of what is holding us youth all back. If it exposes you to too much music and making you go into it out of muscle memory, then I would take it away. May Allah help you in taking your first steps. We are all in this together.
