I have the 645l I’ve been using auto trans fluid in it . Look like your missing a piece on the stem grinding side for tapering the stem .

Ya, it's missing. I was going to make one, but the little chamfer can be done freehanded and you dont notice it as its pretty small chamfer. Its just a couple pieces of stamped metal thats tacked together set at a 45 degree angle.

I was wondering how the balls in the chuck are situated on the valve stem I can’t seem to get my chuck tight on the stem and when I do get it somewhat tight the valve wobbles so if you can help me in anyway I sure would appreciate it!

So I just went out to look and its buried behind a bunch of machining tools. But, if I remember correctly, when you spin the chuck ring off, you have to push the chuck balls towards each other for the chuck ring to come off.( Its been a while, they may have to go outwards?) Im telling you this because more then likely you have a bunch of debri inside the chuck that is preventing you from closing up on the valve stem. Dont start prying with screw drivers because if you ding them, their not cheap and it wont work properly. But a little pick or something and you should be able to get it off. When you get it apart, clean everything exceptionally good. Everything has to move freely.
