- David sacks Alan, and Alan demands to know why Carol and David are spending time together. When he learns about David being Bianca's father, he struggles to forgive Carol and a feud erupts between him and David.

Eastenders is a programme where adults act like children and children act like adults like seriously why get into a relationship if you are always going to argue over petty things and have those around you suffer due to your silly actions.
even in modern episodes like last week, adults act like children and children act like adults
Interesting seeing the scene at the pub door to think how much bianca grew to hate grant later cos of his abuse of tiff.

Carol on his ass 24/7, a house full of ungrateful brats and work thin on the ground would make anyone testy.
Though he could be a dope at times (The Frankie mess)
He got into a mini war with Phil Mitchell in 1996 as well.
Alan was a muscly deep voiced mans man packing a linford lunchbox to keep carol happy. Wasnt really on phils war radar though. Funny episode when kathy makes sanjay and alan sit through a euro 96 game with phil. Awkward as hell until nigel arrives. 😂

Proper downtrodden mumsy mum. But that was what made 90s enders so gritty and real. She was a great actress and interesting character.
She didnt just look it.. she was in all ways. 4 kids, unknown fathers, lies, … we all make mistakes but she made the same one over and over, four times!
Alan was a lovely man and a good father, kind, hardworking, honest.. not many like him about.
Carol was a bike.. we all make mistakes, she made 4 of the same. None of the kids knew who their dads were because she lied. She was a dirty control freak. She wasn’t protecting her kids like she kept banging on about, she was ashamed of what she had done, and rightly so..
