I'm really hoping for a King Crimson reference next episode, That would just be awesome, I know it's unlikely, but still, it'd be a fun reason to cut out the previous bosses if he really wanted to.
Poor Naka. That was very great. In my first attempt I didn't make it to his 2nd form. So you did better then me. But if your gonna continue this. I wish you the best of luck. Don't give up. You can do this!
Y'know, I actually died to the exact same attack my first time trying to beat Star Dream Soul OS. Going in with no idea how to deal with attacks you would normally just stuff immediately before they went off. Now you're forced to dodge them at least once if you want any chance of lasting til the end. Keep at it Naka! You've shown that you have what it takes to stand with the best! The true secret ending is all that's left!
Like I said in the Arena video, Dark Matter Clone is so much easier with Mirror and its ability to reflect projectiles. The Mirror body's invincibility frames are really useful against the Sectonia clone too.
dear lord the Galacta Knight fight had me literally gasping and clutching my phone. Those last few fights are insane! you can do it, Naka! Kick the robot-cat-pocketwatch monstrosity's butt!
I've gotta say, I'm very impressed, it took me like 10 tries to get to that stage of Star Dream, and EVEN THEN I only finished thanks to amiibo. Won't blame you if you give up here, one of the most challenging and frustrating things is that you get no break and no heals there and you have to go through so much to get back and learn the fight. Really good attempt, and a really fun ride this LP has been.
I think I've said this, but Clanky woods looks like Trevenant from Pokemon. With the Pokemon sounds and Clanky looking like Trevenant I really wonder if people from the GaneFreak or the Pokemon Company worked on this game.
Wow. Okay, so, I don't usually comment at all but I feel like I need to say this: Reaching Nova in your first try is an AMAZING feat. Congratulations on that! They throw so much stuff at you at the same time, even after that last row of bosses that already had ridiculously hard patterns. However, in the Halberd section, I see that sometimes throughout the video you don't quite understand why you weren't getting hit. The reason for that is that the dodge roll that you can do with L and R makes you invincible for the vast majority of its frames. And that is a godsend for parts such as 25:40 or even at 26:55, where there's just too much of the screen that's covered. You do have to keep in mind that you're vulnerable in the slight delay at the start and end, though. I don't know if you already have the next part recorded or not (Video description and all...) but if you don't, please keep this in mind! You are very capable of clearing this whole thing easily. And everyone else thinks so too, it seems!
I know there won't be any youngsters in the crowd that will remember this, but to the old folks I say this to you: In the second fight with Star Dream Soul OS, when he shoots that H looking beam, does it not look like the H symbol on the ring in that old Hercules cartoon?
So close to the end, that really sucks. My first run through of this true arena was similarly rough and I am a bit more aggressive in how I attack. My second try in doing it carried me through though. But all things considered I had already seen all the True Arena had to offer getting all the way to Star Dream Soul OS's final form and even the very last phase of that. This is not advice in how to use just simply how I used it. For archer I simply did as many fully charged attacks as I could when I could except for Galacta Knight who I quickfired for when he was on the ground while charging when he was in the air since he can't block then. The weird thing about my second attempt despite coming so close and failing I was completely calm in fact I was so calm I think I only got hit a few times in the entirety of the Star Dream Soul OS fight and one form I didn't get hit at all.
Wow. You managed to make it to Star Dream's final phase first try. I have to give you kudo's for that - that is no small feat. Still, it makes it no less soul-crushing when you lose; in fact, it's worse knowing you were so close...
Damn, you certainly did better than I did the first time I went into the Arena. It was only your first time though so I'm very certain that you can beat the Arena with a second try, it's really not that hard compared to Super Star Ultra's True Arena, it really isn't, you should be able to do this fine, Naka.
I tried to cheese the True Arena with Leaf as I did in Triple Deluxe, but losing it for Star Dream made things tougher. I got to the Nova phase on my first go as well, but for other reasons, I decided to not pursue the rest.
Are you ok, man. It's it's alright. You don't have to 100% the game for us. I'm glad you at least tried though. If you've feel like you got it in you to beat this mode like I did a bunch of times and with so much trial and error, I'm rooting for you all the way!
I won't blame you if you don't beat the True Arena, it's pretty freaking tough, the reward for 100% is amazing and overpowered but only accessible in story mode. Still, it's very fun if you don't have the amiibo or the ability to USE it, I lack both but beat the True Arena.
You did so well. Fantastic! You died were i die all the time too! Good run and I wish you luck if you are going to try this again. I keep on going and I haven't beaten it yet. So I encourage you to keep on trying. You'll get there eventually. It's just a matter of concentration, patience, skill, and good practice. Good Luck!
I have little doubt in my mind that you have the skill to beat this boss and, in turn, the rest of the True Arena. There *_is_* something I wanted to warn you about, however, just in case this would be your first time facing... "it". The "true final boss" of the True Arena has a sort of... "desperation attack" that it should do right before dying, involving sending large horizontal bars towards the screen, which you can probably dodge by getting below of above. If you have PSI, it might not be a problem if you teleport "behind" them, but I'm not sure since I'm fairly certain it *_pierces Stone's, Archer's and Leaf's "invincible" states._* They telegraph it quite a bit, so you should be able to see it coming, but I still thought it'd helpful to know ahead of time. I'm fairly certain I dodged it my first time purely by panicking and remembering some older Kirby bosses did something similar.
I think the last time it was need was Grandia 2. Really since the time limit was lifted in 2011 and as people have become used to longer videos, splitting thing has been less needed for LPS in general, the 40-60 minute videos that became staples for Emile's Xenoblade LP as it went on comes to mind.
Kudos to getting to the Nova portion first try. That's really impressive.

Not a bad Attempt Naka. You'll get it next time.
Almost there! You can do it Naka!
Nooo, you did so well, Naka! You did so well! Especially on such little life there at the end, holy crap!
you actually did pretty well for what im assuming is the first shot. you totally got this!
Dude! You hung in there. Im sure you will get it in the next shot. You can't win them all in first tries. I know I didn't.
I didn't either. I beated it eventually though. And now every time I face The True Arena, I mostly never die now.
Welp.
Also, Star Dream's looking a lot more like our familiar NOVA with that yellow 2.0 mode paint job.
It's alright if you don't carry on with completing the True Arena, I certainly wouldn't blame you
I think I've said this, but Clanky woods looks like Trevenant from Pokemon.
With the Pokemon sounds and Clanky looking like Trevenant I really wonder if people from the GaneFreak or the Pokemon Company worked on this game.
I never clenched my butt so hard in my life. Sooo many close hits during these last few fights.
Do the impossible! See the invisible!
Touch the untouchable! Break the unbreakable!
Sing it with me, guys!
ROW, ROW, FIGHT THE POWER!
Good job! Everyone, give Naka your energy!
Whooo These are a series of Battles thats for sure
Star Dream Soul was NOT what I was expecting.
I was expecting something like, say, Marx making a sudden return to be honest.
That was so nail-biting since Haltmann up until the very end.
Naka deserves far more subs than he has.
"To be continued"??. so we're not calling it quits here >). C'mon Naka WE GOT THIS~
Holy crap. Made it all the way to Nova on his first try, that's quite impressive!
Here's to hoping that you manage a victory next time!
Wow. Okay, so, I don't usually comment at all but I feel like I need to say this: Reaching Nova in your first try is an AMAZING feat. Congratulations on that! They throw so much stuff at you at the same time, even after that last row of bosses that already had ridiculously hard patterns.

I'm impressed by how skilled you are at vidja games.
I would've never been able to make it that far my first go.
That ending was heartbreaking
I know there won't be any youngsters in the crowd that will remember this, but to the old folks I say this to you:
In the second fight with Star Dream Soul OS, when he shoots that H looking beam, does it not look like the H symbol on the ring in that old Hercules cartoon?
Never give up, Naka!
Never surrender!
Never give up! Never surrender!

Congrats Naka. Hope you can kick Star Dreams Butt next time you try
In this episode: The last of Bread's Quest!
Wow. You managed to make it to Star Dream's final phase first try. I have to give you kudo's for that - that is no small feat. Still, it makes it no less soul-crushing when you lose; in fact, it's worse knowing you were so close...
A very brave run indeed.

everytime I fight dark matter in a kirby LP, I'm going to use the remix of the first two themes
if I can get to doing it
one more thing for people that played Kibry: returns to dreamland should know the music in Galacta Knight's first phase
That was almost really clutch man
I tried to cheese the True Arena with Leaf as I did in Triple Deluxe, but losing it for Star Dream made things tougher. I got to the Nova phase on my first go as well, but for other reasons, I decided to not pursue the rest.
Whoa, you got so close Naka. That was awesome to watch. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I look forward to the rematch. ^^
Probably would o helped to mention that the barrel roll 100% shields you and destroys obstacles, making it easier to eat them.
Are you ok, man. It's it's alright. You don't have to 100% the game for us. I'm glad you at least tried though.
If you've feel like you got it in you to beat this mode like I did a bunch of times and with so much trial and error, I'm rooting for you all the way!
Well, that was a good effort at least.
Surviving that long with no health at all is pretty good in itself.
I won't blame you if you don't beat the True Arena, it's pretty freaking tough, the reward for 100% is amazing and overpowered but only accessible in story mode. Still, it's very fun if you don't have the amiibo or the ability to USE it, I lack both but beat the True Arena.
I know for a fact that you CAN beat this.
Ahh, so close indeed...Now I see where all the difficulty from The True Arena comes from, and why everybody just Cheeses the Hammer ability...
*opens arms*
If it makes you feel better, I'd likely have never made it past Galacta Knight...
I only survived Galacta Knight because I panicked when he knocked me to 1 hp and I shot my Power at him by mistake.
You did so well. Fantastic! You died were i die all the time too! Good run and I wish you luck if you are going to try this again. I keep on going and I haven't beaten it yet. Yes it does go though stone leaf and Archer's Invulnerability the on;y thing that it cannont hit are a VERY well timed Dodge, and ESP's teleport.
hey good first try naka 8D.
You made it pretty far though dude, keep at it
Did the sound die out for anyone else during the Galacta Knight fight?
Never mind it was on my end
Both at once?? Mistake?
No Naka usually does this with Videos that he splits in half.
Not from what I remember, but I suppose it's been a while since he's split videos at all.
I think the last time it was need was Grandia 2. Really since the time limit was lifted in 2011 and as people have become used to longer videos, splitting thing has been less needed for LPS in general, the 40-60 minute videos that became staples for Emile's Xenoblade LP as it went on comes to mind.
