Dimash is a 29-year-old Kazakh vocalist and composer; He speaks Kasakh, Russian and English and is learning Mandarin Chinese. He sings in more than 14 languages, plays 7 musical instruments. He graduated from the Kazakhstan University of Arts with a master's degree in composition and I was informed that he is completing a doctorate in musicology. He also dances, acts and is an advertising model (he is 6.3 feet tall). He has received countless awards and honors around the world. He was recently in Los Angeles, USA, working on new material of his that his fans (he affectionately calls us "dears") are eagerly awaiting. He is a kind, polite and compassionate person, proud of his culture and his country.

Dimash was on a competition in China in 2017. He had won comps in his country of Kazakhstan but the clip of him singing s o s on week one of the comp, git him 600 million views and presented Dimash to the world. He has only got better since then. This digital show was put on during the pandemic. Dimash also composes, p,Amy’s seven instruments, directs, models, dances etc. yet he is humble, respectful, kind, loving, patriotic and very much the humanitarian, He sings songs from opera to rap. He is a wonder of the world.

The first time I heard Dimash my dad played "S.O.S." from his Slavic Bazaar performance and I had a similar reaction, I even ended up curled up in a ball on the couch at one point. Who is Dimash? I, and a few others, call him the singer of the millennia because the range of musical genres, and his vocal range, 7.7 octaves, are like no other. From Kazakhstan, beginning his singing career at age 5 (he's 29 now, 2023), Dimash was accepted into the most distinguished music academy in his country. The world became aware of him in 2017 (when he was 22), during and after a Chinese singing contest called "Singer". His first digital music album "ID" went platinum in only 37 seconds after release, and 3x platinum in only one hour, and 5x platinum in only one day on Chinese music platforms In December 2019, he made his US debut in New York at the Barclays Center. Dears (those he calls his fans) traveled from 68 different countries, 43 states & 2 US territories, and was sold out. Now writing his Doctoral thesis for a PhD in Musicology/ Composing, received all his degrees with honors while simultaneously filling arenas and maintaining his performing career, a first! He has a bachelors degree in vocals, a master's degree in composition and is about to complete his PhD in musicology this year (2023).
Dimash sings in 14 languages, plays 7+ musical instruments, is a composer, an amazing vocalist, patriot, philanthropist and, despite his popularity and talent, is a very warm and humble person.

This song is in French, Dimash is from Kazakhstan. Yes, he has everything and more of what you want to hear in music. May I suggest you watch a short series of videos, 12 altogether, entitled "The Ultimate Guide To Dimash. Then you may want to start with his performances on the Chinese singing competition show called "Singer 2017." He was invited as the first foreigner and the youngest singer in the show's history. The other singers were 12-39 years his senior, and Dimash was just 22 years old. None of the others even knew what he looked like, much less his vocal abilities. To say they were shocked is an understatement. He was in a country totally foreign to him, not knowing the language or cultural differences. His first four songs were in French, Russian, English, and Mandarin, with only one week to learn each song. He was outstanding. There has never been another singer comparable to him and I do not think there will be one soon. He is humble, loves his family, his country and its traditions and heritage, and his "Dears", how he refers to his fans. Music is a unique part of his DNA, it is who he is. He once commented that if you were to cut his heart open, you would see music. He still does vocal training for 3-5 hours every day. You are in for the most unbelievable music journey to music nirvana. So, buckle up buttercup.

I loved your reaction from Dimash’s singing . I heard him the first time several months ago and I happened to hear SOS . I couldn’t stop crying. Good tears. I'm sure someone hs told you by now that Dimash is from Kazakhstan. He speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently but sings in about 12 different languages including English and has a 6 octave range (some say 7 octaves.). He is singing SOS in French. When I first heard Dimash sing SOS in 2017, the Facebook post had no information about him. I searched the internet like a crazy person and found nothing. A month later I found a couple things about his parents. Now he is known in over 93 countries and there are hundreds of things online, if not thousands.
I have seen vocal coaches cry, swear in astonishment, take off their earphones and walk off camera, and two even fell off their chairs! You are now among the millions who are in awe of his ability. I have cried millions of tears listening to his voice. Hundreds have commented that his voice grabbed their hearts and soul and sent them soaring into the stratosphere/heaven.
