You take such excellent care of your horses! You can tell that they’re happy and well loved because they stand there respectfully with soft eyes, and relaxed hindquarters. They don’t twitch or prance, or have scared eyes. And you can wash their face without them backing away from you! There are tons of face-safe, tearless shampoos for horses. It’s important to wash their faces to help remove debris that gets trapped under the halter. My gelding for example runs hot and sweats from literally standing in the field. Sweat sits on his face and he loses hair on his forehead because it makes him so itchy he rubs it raw. So since I started regularly washing his face we haven’t had any problems and his fur has grown back on his face!
