Benson, Great review and how long would these last if i skated about 6 hours a week? I cant kickflip because I know that it ruins your shoes the quickest
Benson, I really want the Kostons because of all the great reviews and the red colorway. But I am only allowed to get 1 pair of shoes in the next few months (parents hate my lot of 20+ shoes). Do you have any idea about the retail on these?
@MrVicman777 Your right they are not supposed to have stitching on the swoosh I have them and there is not stitching so the shoes won't have the swoosh ripped of when skating.

Kostons are the best skate shoe out now, but these look promising. Probably because they basically took all the good features of the Kostons and put the PR on it. I can't wait to try these on though. Those soles look serious!
hi!, im interested in buying some p rod 5s for m bday and i found some blue ones that are cheaper and i like alot, but they look slightly different from the others. for instence alot of the other shoes have p rods signature and the blue ones dont and insted of saying nike sb on the tounge it just has a P and an R and on the heel it just has a V without the nike SB so i was wondering should i still buy these? are they the same quality as the others?
i just realised the sample benson’s showing is slightly different to the ones on shelves today - particularly the upper part of the toe cap - it has little more perforation
nike should give more of their pros a shoe cause if im not mistaken only 4 of them have one, and p-rod gets a new model like every 6-12 months that just doesn't seem fair.
is there a store that you can possibly find nike p rods 5 cuz i dont want to order from a website and im not a skate boarder i just like the shoe soo i jst wanna know wherer i can find these shoes
@cuddster94 your right man..i noticed too..but your forgetting about the type of laces too..i got a pair and they are just like normal laces, not like the ones shown in this video.. even they have the PR logo on the insole i believe they should have kept it on the tongue.. its his pro model..im sure people established its nike sb, but they decided have swooshes all over it..
Def recommend the prod 5's personally one of my favs so far, they have to be good cause I have picked up two black pairs and one pair of the cream color ones.
on every review that you do you should put the shoes on your feet like how you use to do it, it will help out it will give me an idea on how it looks on feet. so please do it
These look awesome I have dc block 43s and they are really wide and have stiching everywhere so they fall apart and have no grip anyone recomend a shoe that has really good grip?
I think these shoes have only 1 bad thing, wich is the tread pattern on the bottom. And the bad thing in it, is that all the small rocks get "stuck" to it, so you have to take the rocks off of the bottom every once in awhile, but overall, very good shoe.
@SyafiqCoult that what i was thinking lol... but id go with dc as in personal opinion apparently they last longer and i have seen my friends skate dcs and they lasted them about 8 months... nikes tend to be better for the actual skating but break down easier, my friend has nike sb's and has rode them for about 2 weeks and his left foot where he flicks is totally fucked... hope this helped
This shoe is AMAZING!! It has good grip, awesome flick, good board feel, really comfortable, and pretty stylish :)

to be honest almost everything about this shoes is great but the only thing i dont like is the toe. it isnt pointy , it really messed up my kickflip
the P.Rod vulc's wear out extremely fast. for my friend they did.
