    The difference is that you didn't put tomato paste in yours. For added depth in flavor and that beautiful orange bisque color. ❤

    I think the addition of flour in the recipe is a mistake one and a half c's of flour seems way too much I'm thinking only adding a 1/2 c is plenty! His recipe looks soooooo good. mmmmm

      Technically cooked rice would be used as the thickening agent in a bisque❤.

      Hey, sorry the the delayed reply. I have to be honest and say that while it would be good, it would be like a puzzle with a piece missing. While you you may be able to appreciate it, you will always notice that something is missing. 🙄

    So I can't find lobster stock. 😕 I can find lumped crab meat in a can, but is there an alternative to lobster stock? I live in a land locked state.

    I wish crab meat wasn’t so expensive. And I live on the gulf coast.. I’ll splurge sometime and purchase some crab meat. You can’t get She Crab meat snywhere

      Hi sometimes Walmart has chicken of the sea backfin, it’s pretty good. However I don’t recall ever being able to but she crabmeat. Thank for watching 😎
