Not just that youre giving super good informations and tipps, your are still talking about your own opinion…some opinion might not be the same, and I think thats the way it should be…I dont play that Pip talent very often, but you convinced me to try it out! I quited Paladins a 2 weeks ago but still look up for its gameplays and content creators. As a Mal'damba main, my tip is to don't EVER stop pressing your reloading buttom. Everytime you have the opportunity, even if it is less than one second, you need to reload Wekono. The Mal'dambas realoading is pretty slow and being reloading all the time is very helpful against flanks, for example, since you won't have to wait the entire animation play to launch your stun

I like to think support role for any game is a critical play maker. I like being able to keep the ppl saying "20 and 0" alive. Thnx a ton for the video.
Great video. I used to main Ying back before Life Exchange was even a thing (around 7-8 years ago), and the gameplay was similar to what is known today as Resonance. A tip from me: when you pocket (matches without a tank often lead you to that), or in critical moments such as overtime, when it's most important to keep a specific teammate alive, it might be beneficial to place your illusions in the line of fire. So heal with shatter, use the cooldown to place your illusion between the teammate and enemy, heal with shatter again. It requires some communication with your team so they know to move around in order to keep the illusion as a barrier as the enemy moves around, and you gotta have Spring Bloom and Squadron cards in your deck. And what's more, the illusion keeps healing as long as it's alive, and once the enemy destroys it Spring Bloom goes into effect and you can place another illusion. Pretty nifty when you're in a pinch. You can use illusions to save yourself too (it's in my arsenal when I play Resonance).
for furia: the only way ibuse healing tornadoe is if my tank is yagorath, for seris: if you know an ally is going behind a wall, might as well activate the heal while you can just in case theres an enemy there you cant see (because theyre behind a wall) for playing paladins in general: i allocate a champion for each map, so i dont need to wonder what im gonna play, you get to play diverse playstyles and enjoy some maps more (this damage, this flank, this tank, this support, for this map, depending on what the team needs)
As a Lillith Main I agree w this, though I change my Blood Hex frequently since I run maxed chronos, I don’t change my Blood Hex unless I’m ABOVE 70% Hp because the healing you get for that marked ally and yourself are both exponential. You do not want to have a hex that’s been healing you for 2s to be your source of health when someone is attacking you while low, you want to be attacked while the hex has been running at least 5s so you are healing a large amount of health while being hit and having cauterize on you. Often times the person hexxed will help you as well since they just received a hex they’re probably nearby as well so you should survive easier as well, combined with all the factors helping you, Mobility, Blood Hex Healing, Teammate Assistance ect.
Thank you for your explanations. I am really taking your pointers to heart. I would love to see your explanation on your choices of cards. You seem very knowledgeable and well spoken.
love the tips, people always think im dps rei when i run the link talent but its really good for healing, never really liked extension, glad to finally find someone else that shares the same mindset lol
Love it, some good content we've been missing since Vex stopped. I haven't used vine reach for years though, vine tech is a bit buggy but I still use it in ranked.
I play corvus and moji, i usually use dark gifts with corvus when playing with my friend who mains raum and i run spreading influence if theres 2 flanks on the team, or an off tank, then moji is always run snack attack cause i rarely use scamper other than to push forward with my tank, i just like snack attack due to the fact i dont need to be near my team to heal, i just heal them when picking up the health pack, and i dive back with the other flanks or off tanks to help them out in the backline, but incase i dont get an on tank for my team, ill run my tank build to try and stay alive and use the sheild as much as possible, this video is a great help, excellent video, very informative
This is an amazing video and I think you did a wonderful job on it. I do think there are still some points of criticism though. Main one I can currently think of is that running the vine range card on Grover near to useless when you consider that vine tech gives you infinite range on it. Another one is that with Pip (although I'm not the biggest fan nor the best player of him), running mega pot as a solo healer is very risky seeing as there are no sustain heals, just big bursts of them, so I would recommend only using ir if you have a second support. As I said though this video is lovely so be very proud of it
The guide I actually needed for supports, cuz I am usually playing as point/off tank so I need to know a bit about my support potential. Also bc I need to know more about playing as a support xd.
For rei, i was also using focus for healing but i was looking at this gameplay of this guy in ranked that used extension with the card that reduce your cooldown when you link to a new target, and it was quite strong and even maybe better than focus, because it reduce your right click healing + envelope, and also it's a little bit easier to ult someone without focus, idk if you ever tried it but it didn't seem bad
@@Emmy13691 I'll have to say that Deft Magics doesn't work properly because it does not lower the cooldown of Chain Heal while it's traveling but it does lower the cooldown of Envelop while it's active. Still, 0.5 seconds off your heal if you time your link is super great plus the constant cooldown reduction on Envelop is super nice.
Grohk is my favorite support to play, he’s just very good at deathball team comps and not much else. He doesn’t have a lot of ways to heal ppl who are far away, but if u are in a coordinated team and u want to run a deathball style comp, he is utterly broken. Double or triple tanks with one really solid dps or flank that doesn’t go alone often, someone like a zhin or a bomb king, and the results will pile in. I’m also a damba main, and I have to say when u perfect damba, u start to carry every game. Other supports just don’t have nearly as much value as he does. 2 different heals that are both very good and have extremely low cooldowns, one of the best escapes of any support, a very good primary fire for a support plus a reload that stuns, and one of the most oppressive ults in the game, he just has so much to offer. Oh, and I forgot to add, but his right click heal has to be one of the most satisfying abilities in the entire game. Heals ur teammates a bunch especially with mending spirits which is the only talent u should run, relies completely on aim so u actually feel like an fps player, and the best part for me? It remains fully accurate even while damba is in midair. The best feeling when u jump just to get that little bit of extra height to heal a far away enemy through a window or over a ledge or something. Got plenty of moments I remember like that from brightmarsh especially
Ty for this video! even 7 months later it def still holds up. I used to play a few years back but got into O*erwatch(💀), and since that ship is sinking, ive moved back to paladins. The problem is that in every game i play i have 3-4 people locking dps, so i feel like i have to play support lmao. This is def gonna help me carry even harder 😄
My main support is Mal. My playstyle is a little different. I never try to stun anyone. I just simply just chase vulnerable teammates for heal so Im running max speed all the time. People complain about me not buying deft immediately but I think Chronos and Nimble is priority. Mostly, Im doing great with Mal. Im good at predicting a teammates route and placing the gourd in advance. I dont always place gourds where the teammate is atm, place it where they will go. preferably, where they have a chance to avoid dmg like behind a rock or wall or shield. so the teammate dont end up going away from the gourd, instead, theyre going on it. Except if they can actually win a fight with a little healing. My favorite thing in this game is a good Damba player because I know they're very attentive because he is probably the hardest support.
This video can be really helpful for new or non-support players who want to start playing healers, but I i have some comments to your gameplay: 1) use you attacks, literally hold your attack button all the time, every dmg dealt=ult charge, every dmg brings enemy to death, even if you miss it's better than not shooting at all 2) focus less on healing, you are trying too much to heal someone, like in your ying, you hover your crosshair on teammate waiting for cooldown to go off, in this time you can shot once or twice or even more (dmg=ult charge) 3) you have to work on your positioning, you are playing to risky, for example in damba gameplay you gave up on highground to chase AFAIR skye to heal her, don't do such things, if your teammates are smart enough and needs heal they'll come to you. Same thing on IO, intead of going highground, where you can heal literally every lane, you went mid alone. 4) be behind your team, it's your job to see what is going on on entire map, in video you are pushing forward like close range dps 5) during cap sit on point, on push sit on payload, supports needs credits more than other classes, by being close to payload you earn extra credits, you can easier afford chronos and rest of stuff 6) don't ever buy kill to heal on supports, that is waste of credits, thanks to a lot of self healing on most of them you have enough self sustain, it's better to intstead buy haven (except lillith always prioritize haven intead of veteran, supports have low health pool, they don't benefit of veteran as much as tanks).
These are very good points, most of them revolve around me having tunnel vision which I for sure am bad about! Thanks for pointing some things out I'll definitely keep them in mind I'm always looking to improve 💖
Completely disagree on supports not buying kill to heal. You’re healing everyone. Not just the tank. So you get everyone’s elims and are constantly self healing and unkillable. Kill to heal is way cheaper than haven and you will have it maxed out by the first round and also you have 4 item slots so no reason to say don’t buy it at all and act like they should stick to one item. Kill to heal is broken right now there’s almost never a reason to not buy it.
@@SocialExperiment232 If you are maxing out kill to heal in first round while playing support just don't play them. If you need even more healing than you have in your kit/loadout and you have to rely on this on your team it means you're playing too risky or your positioning is bad, don't play in the open, don't stay in line of sight of snipers, be aware where flanks/off tanks are and communicate you need help. There are far more importants items for supports than more self healing.
@@SocialExperiment232 you dont get value out of kill to heal most of the time if you're gonna be in the back. Not every time will someone get an elimination when you need the health if ur getting flanked.
okay I haven't played in a while I just got back into paladins but I was a die hard Lilith main and I always see people using the card blood cannon while I'm not saying it's bad it's not actually her best card in my opinion (this is also map dependent) her jump cards are key to playing Lilith. If you always have someone marked and your healing pool is on someone else you heal back more hp than you dish out (especially with the new changes) and being flanked is very avoidable since with the right levels on your leap card your can almost dissapear from enemies sight I recommend blood cannon for casual play but once you master positioning and cool down balancing her leaps cards are a must! (Also I'm not sure if they patched this or if you don't know about it but grovers vine tech is phenomenonal it's when you aim yours vine at a wall but last second your turn to a wall far away and it acts as if you had vined to the wall further away (if that's makes sense) but it's brilliant it can come in clutch a lot!)
This is honestly not bad. Was A bit skeptical at first but there are a few things I did learn from this video. Mainly involving lilith and ios playstyle. My question is why use the vine card on grover? I usually just use the vine (tech) he has on kit to soon around. Is there something I'm missing on the card or???
I have seen this comment a lot actually so I am gonna respond to yours just because it's the most recent I have seen! Yes vine tech can eliminate the need for that card, however I find a lot of new players do not know it exists or simply don't know how to use it. It's (as far as I know) not something included in his chamption description. I am no Grover main but sometimes I find tech to be unreliable. So that is a big reason why I recommend the card especially for new Grover players who usually I find are not just new to support but the game. I can do whole video on vine tech, and it may have been good to mention here upon reflection. No hate toward this commentnor anyone mentioning it, it is a great point!
@@Emmy13691 I see. Granted I do play on console so I don't know what bugs or things there are to find in PC. Yes, it isn't technically described in the description of the character. I'm sry I didn't know that the vine tech works weird on PC. My bad, but I do think it's a great card for new grover players and maybe I'll give it a try to see what it can do for myself. I'd love to see some load outs that you run for some of these healers and compare them to what I run. I think your onto something big with this channel and I believe you could do very well on the RUclips platform. I'll be eager to see the next video! (Again sry I play on console and people on there don't usually play high mobile champions as often, there rather rare.)
Tiny tip! You can cancel Rei's Envelop early if you're only using it on an ally to keep put the ability on cooldown early. I dunno if anyone else has mentioned this already.
I find it so funny when people say "I cAnT gEt HeAlS FrOm ThIs YiNg!" because her decoys literally heal no matter what as long as they have los of you rofl
Ripend Gourd is underrated imo. Sure, u dont have that extra dmg, but u can balance that out with mastering the stun so that your tank has free hits. Also, when u know that you die, you can place it right before u die and keep the tank/s alive for the time u respawn.
It would be interesting to see you do a similar video but with general support tips rather then just healing tips. Support champions have so much more to offer then just healing and when we focus on the healing aspect this leads to the community becoming toxic against support players who are not focused soley on healing. For example Furia Exterminate, there is a huge misconception that this is a damage talent but this is a great talent and very viable for a support.
Imo Focus rei is a great healing and support talent Extension is good for healing targets in spread out maps But you will generally want play rei in maps like ice mine, shattered desert or even frog isle
I hadnt play this game since 2019, when I reached 70 H in game, I wanted to try and get on again, this video allowed me to discover how to use rei, my new favorite support character, this video was amazing, but I'd love if you could show the decks you use with each character
I am and I actually already did one on Rei! My deck and everything is in there as well as a super detailed breakdown :) All of the others I have done so far are also in the series are in a playlist, I hope you enjoy!
@@Emmy13691 Im pretty sure that it actually dissapears, so no healing done, and goes on cd late too. I contacted an AOC that is a rei main with video proof so hopefully somethings gonna be done about it ^^
Nice tips especially the Ying part, but i found it weird that u didnt mention pip combat medic talent and the grover vine tech (which makes your vine range card unnecessary) also as far as i know they removed grokhs totem speed stacking (i use him alot and i miss it ;-;)
please never run vine grasp for grover that card is genuinly useless you already have near infinite range for vine with vine tech and just play totemic ward for grohk
my English is bad so i try explain how i can hey great video i agree with everything you say exept Furias solar blessing ye it's hard to heal with this you need to think before use it and it's hard to get in that place where it need to be BUT if you use cherish you lose one of your ability and it's huge deal you can CC people with solar blessing as well and do damage to them anyway so why not use solar blessing for healing people who is behind the wall who you can't heal i just think it's not right thing to lose your ability for more left click heal what will be almost useless at late game i am lvl 105 with furia i try many playstyle with her and solar blessing seems likes at least to me wright talent for healing of course people are different and you meabe prefer cherish i don't see problem with that at all but saying it's hard to heal with this talent because some people ignore beam it's not an a argument
I totally understand! The reason I do not usually recommend it is because not many can pull it off, I think it is awesome you have learned to use it so well in your play style
the only thing i dont like in paladins is the antiheal, and a really high one by the end of the final round, and the support role is already being punished with a cooldown for healing ( with chronos included), and by the end of the final round i just feel useless. I just feel like the devs need to tone down the in-game antiheal.
3:00 cant stress this enough if youre going a solo healer Ying please dear lord please pick Life Exchange. I cant tell how many of my games went awry because a silent Ying solo support player decided to pick Resonance instead so the team didnt have any healing. True enough when game ended usually they always end up with less than 10k healing while enemys healers go up to 50k
Even if they have a lot of healing don’t let them convince you that they did well or that they’re “good with reso”. Even if they have 150k healing that healing was unfocused, unintentional, and not impactful. I can’t tell you how many reso yings will say “see y’all were wrong I have 100k healing” even tho it’s still crap cause they were never really able to save anyone when it really mattered, the tank went through absolute hell having to adjust their playstyle so they take the least dmg possible (leaving the team with less protection), and the flanks look way worse cause they were having to stand around behind cover and heal passively cause otherwise the only healing they’re getting is from ults.
@@SocialExperiment232 same bro also getting high healing with reso ying is equal to getting kills with bk without once exploding his bombs, only the stick dmg. So yah very doable but extremely ineffective I also hate Reso Ying with passion
Nahhh not all of them They like supports cause its chill and they like helping :>> But have you seen girls that are damage or flank mains 🥲 Dangerous women
Im playing this game since beta, I still dont know how this game even function at first place. But at least This Guide is based. More based than game itself :P Ying : Some players hate her for Based reasons. Wrong placeement of holo's and... She's kinda useless without her holo's. Seris : The basic, But also pretty cancer if you know how to be naughty (flanker seris) Furia : Please god dont use exterminte, The enemy will insult you for that xd Rei : Hated for her Insta-Heal and Invincibility. And I personally dont like her annoying voicelines. Sssnake : Based. Io : Works I guess. Vampire :She's nice ... But newbies just cant play her. edgy Corvy boi : Q range issues If you have aggresive flanker. Grover : Nice
Would've been appreciated if you could've talked about Rei's bugs to raise some awareness for her. It sucks Rei doesn't work rn and I barely see anyone even acknowledging that, has anyone been playing her after the December patch update? She was already bugged for 7 months with her circling around Chain Heal bug and the bugs she got after this patch absolutely ruined her, made her completely unplayable. Chain Heal just doesn't work anymore, you can barely even heal yourself now. I want to see her get some justice but being unplayable for 85 days is just ridiculous on Hi-rez's side and I'm starting to worry they will never restore her to her former glory. #FixRei
Ikr I stood there My ash at 100 percent My nessa at 100 percent Me at 50 percent health Where does the heal go? Bounce ash and nessa then circles around me ._. i never felt this betrayed by an ability before
@@punny7611 Ikr she's just unplayable. For 7 months she had a pretty bad bug where her Chain Heal orb would just circle around doing absolutely nothing at times. Most people just got used to that and she was at least still playable. After this most recent patch, not only does that bug still exist, but she got like two more CH bugs that just completely ruined her. Idk why Emmy didn't mention this tbh if Rei is her second main. I barely ever see Rei's bugs acknowledged, especially with Rei players, it's like they refuse to believe she's ruined or just don't care. Her orbs just disappear at times now, and sometimes the orb literally hits targets but doesn't give any healing value. She can barely heal herself most games. And the devs have the nerve to leave her like this for 85 days. She was my main and I've had to stop playing the game until next patch now, which is when they BETTER completely fix her. Ik they have small teams and all that but they have a bug department, it's not impossible and it's time now to get her back to normal
@@AndrewC79 ive had many times her healing isnt even bouncing and it takes 2 whole seconds to go on cooldown and When i use it again it just dissapears No bouncy noises no healing numbers Just the animation with the hands and nothing Rei lost her powers :,((
@@punny7611 Oh yep, sometimes her Chain Heal icon will start flashing after you use it, as if it's in action but literally nothing is happening. Orbs are def just disappearing and not giving any healing value. She is the worst bugged character I have ever seen in my life, they've left her bugged for too long and now we have to wait 3 months for her to just become playable again? When she first came out, she was glorious. Absolutely amazing support, sure she was annoying and a lot of people just said she was a boring braindead character, but she got me back into this game after I hadn't played for years. She was fun, addictive and had an amazing, rewarding card set. Her utility was so helpful and her healing actually worked and moved around quite nicely. Even her nerfs were fair. She got decent skins and cosmetics and overall just good attention from the devs. It really sucks that this is what she's come to and we can only hope that they'll start off the new year with Rei fixed, especially after 3 months with no patches
Supports are just as fun as before The antihealing increases by 5 percent every 55 secs Which might sound atrocious on paper But in practice it really doesnt matter Since you will be having extremely fun matches Tkming caut and all

You deserve more views and subs! Great video

Love it, some good content we've been missing since Vex stopped. I haven't used vine reach for years though, vine tech is a bit buggy but I still use it in ranked.
Vex is such an amazing support player that is so kind of you to say thank you!
He was so different by the end tho…
Alright. Back to practice.. Thanks Emmy!!
Great video! It'd be cool if you made a comprehensive guide for your loadouts for each character.
That makes me so happy to hear thank you!
I will have to try this out! I think with some comps that coudld be great!

Still, 0.5 seconds off your heal if you time your link is super great plus the constant cooldown reduction on Envelop is super nice.
girl just drop the holy testament of healers 💀 Great video!
i want to pocket both Seris and Io so this video is a huge help! thanks comrade

My favourites are Seris and Rei btw :)
Hey girl great video in depth video with map visuals,
Lilith is my favorite support, then rei
Another Lilith tip I didn’t see : you can actually have 2 swarm zones out at a time if you time it right.
as a healer main I need this
I recently started playing paladins again and I love support !! So thx for the vid it was soo good😁😁
This video can be really helpful for new or non-support players who want to start playing healers, but I i have some comments to your gameplay:
1) use you attacks, literally hold your attack button all the time, every dmg dealt=ult charge, every dmg brings enemy to death, even if you miss it's better than not shooting at all
2) focus less on healing, you are trying too much to heal someone, like in your ying, you hover your crosshair on teammate waiting for cooldown to go off, in this time you can shot once or twice or even more (dmg=ult charge)
3) you have to work on your positioning, you are playing to risky, for example in damba gameplay you gave up on highground to chase AFAIR skye to heal her, don't do such things, if your teammates are smart enough and needs heal they'll come to you. Same thing on IO, intead of going highground, where you can heal literally every lane, you went mid alone.
4) be behind your team, it's your job to see what is going on on entire map, in video you are pushing forward like close range dps
5) during cap sit on point, on push sit on payload, supports needs credits more than other classes, by being close to payload you earn extra credits, you can easier afford chronos and rest of stuff
6) don't ever buy kill to heal on supports, that is waste of credits, thanks to a lot of self healing on most of them you have enough self sustain, it's better to intstead buy haven (except lillith always prioritize haven intead of veteran, supports have low health pool, they don't benefit of veteran as much as tanks).
@@thn_ 🤦🏻
@@SocialExperiment232 you dont get value out of kill to heal most of the time if you're gonna be in the back. Not every time will someone get an elimination when you need the health if ur getting flanked.
I wish I had you in my team every time I play so that you can carry me
This is Amazing. Thanks for the Tips...
okay I haven't played in a while I just got back into paladins but I was a die hard Lilith main and I always see people using the card blood cannon while I'm not saying it's bad it's not actually her best card in my opinion (this is also map dependent) her jump cards are key to playing Lilith.
@@dragunlundberg9582 It may not even be pc it may just be me lmao, I think you are so lovely thank you for the kind words 💕
You don’t know about Grover’s vine tech? It removes the need for that vine card completely.
Thank you for this ❤
Imo
Focus rei is a great healing and support talent
Extension is good for healing targets in spread out maps
But you will generally want play rei in maps like ice mine, shattered desert or even frog isle
restraint is when u know a rei is bad
Thanks a lot girl

I don’t take the Grover vine range card because of the vine tech that gives almost infinite range to his vine :)
I hadnt play this game since 2019, when I reached 70 H in game, I wanted to try and get on again, this video allowed me to discover how to use rei, my new favorite support character, this video was amazing, but I'd love if you could show the decks you use with each character

Great point about rei talent! Have you noticed that her heals dissappear randomly after like 2 bounces sometimes after this update?
Yes I have! I can't tell if it's a visual bug and it is actually still bouncing or if it disappears
@@Emmy13691 Im pretty sure that it actually dissapears, so no healing done, and goes on cd late too. I contacted an AOC that is a rei main with video proof so hopefully somethings gonna be done about it ^^
with this bug of her rebounds so that they do not disappear you have to look at who wants to heal and make a rebound type on another ally
Nice tips especially the Ying part, but i found it weird that u didnt mention pip combat medic talent and the grover vine tech (which makes your vine range card unnecessary)
also as far as i know they removed grokhs totem speed stacking (i use him alot and i miss it ;-;)
Great points! I like combat medic, but the tips I gave for his potions can be uses for either talent, I choose depending on the comp we have
For grover if you use his vine tech you dont need to use the card to extend the range.
Fun fact: this video was released on Kazakhstan Independence day
yea i liteeally love you
please never run vine grasp for grover that card is genuinly useless you already have near infinite range for vine with vine tech and just play totemic ward for grohk

hey great video i agree with everything you say exept Furias solar blessing ye it's hard to heal with this you need to think before use it and it's hard to get in that place where it need to be BUT if you use cherish you lose one of your ability and it's huge deal you can CC people with solar blessing as well and do damage to them anyway so why not use solar blessing for healing people who is behind the wall who you can't heal i just think it's not right thing to lose your ability for more left click heal what will be almost useless at late game i am lvl 105 with furia i try many playstyle with her and solar blessing seems likes at least to me wright talent for healing of course people are different and you meabe prefer cherish i don't see problem with that at all but saying it's hard to heal with this talent because some people ignore beam it's not an a argument
I totally understand! The reason I do not usually recommend it is because not many can pull it off, I think it is awesome you have learned to use it so well in your play style
Me too 5years sadly game is dead because overwatch free to play
the only thing i dont like in paladins is the antiheal, and a really high one by the end of the final round, and the support role is already being punished with a cooldown for healing ( with chronos included), and by the end of the final round i just feel useless. I just feel like the devs need to tone down the in-game antiheal.
And btw for grover don't use the cards that buff the range of the vine, use vine tech 😉
Excellent point
Why run vine talent on grover when you can just use vine tech ?
Do u think the speed card on lilith (upto 20 percent movement on hex) is a good card on the build?
I love any card that boosts movement on your target, Damba has a few as well! So yes I think that is a good card :)

No worries, healers mains always carry the team ↗️

Would've been appreciated if you could've talked about Rei's bugs to raise some awareness for her.
