First thing I thought is “please don’t go in that cave alone.” I would’ve been tempted to as well.

@@gradyjenkins9808 haha thank you for the concern. Yes I really wanted to go through that cave but the video doesn't show just how rough those rocks were. If other people were around I probably would have but being there was no one out there at all there's no way I was going to try it. Thanks for watching

@@liortepper3619 I do try to show some of the places that I stay in, however a lot of the times I get to my Airbnb or hotel really late and it's dark and it doesn't make for good video, and to be perfectly honest many of them don't really look that great haha

I think a video on "how to sleep in Amtrak couch" will also be interesting. No good recent videos that I could find.

I've made road trips out west with friends, my ex, my kids, and now as a retired traveler. I need to go through all my photos and revisit all those places to remind myself of where I've been! the Johnny Cash song "I've been everywhere" is playing in my head! When I stopped in at Four Corners, it was CLOSED! They were paving the road in. Note to everyone, call ahead and make sure all the attractions you want to visit are open and if there are planned closures.

@@ROLLMEAWAY hate that the four corners was closed when you went through there. To be honest you really didn't miss much. To me it was literally a 5-minute stop just to get My picture and take a few videos, but nothing I would bother to go back to!

I stopped in Four Corners because my carburetor choked full of dust in a dust storm and then proceeded to lock ourselves out in the dust. I was glad a HALF-TON stopped & too k us Four Corners - and thank the Lord, it was OPEN!! They put a temporary fix on that dusty carburetor! But i had to rev the car above 35 mph or the car would stall! lol all the way home!!!

One year we missed the vendors but the following year we made it in time. Crowds weren’t bad either time. I do 5000-6000 mile road trips once a year and I love that whole area. I’m one to say….Hmmmm, I wonder where this road goes? And turn down the road. I do carry extra gas in the bed of the truck incase my wandering leads to an empty gas tank! 🤣
I would love to be on the train trip you’re on but I don’t know how y’all do it with all the delays on Amtrak.
Safe travels and looking forward to your next video!
