A good way to say The Lord's Prayer with sincerity is to think of a true situation with each verse. OUR FATHER...think of the father you need to protect and care for you and thank him. GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD...think of how You must trust in the Lord for all you have and all you may need not fearing tomorrow and knowing He will supply what you need even when things seem bleak. One of the reasons I have always shied away from the Rosary is because I would zone out and then between meaning the words I would also rush and find my mind counting when I would be over, I quickly realized 2 things... one I was shamed at my impatience with giving time to The Lord... second that repeating a prayer over and over to honor God didn't feel right because that isn't how you truly speak to God. ONCE I started speaking from my heart some prayers that are traditional some just my own words I began to feel they were honoring God properly...of course my human mind tries to wander...BUT it is easier to get back on course because it is what is in my mind too and heart.
Why would you hesitate to discuss things with your Father? How do you build a relationship without talking ? We have a wonderful, loving, wise Abba, who wants to be present and active in our lives. But we seem to easily convince ourselves that we have an absentee parent, preoccupied elsewhere, too Mighty and too busy to notice us. That we haven't the magic passwords, that we have to resort to all kinds of antics and still can't hope to get His attention. In His Son, He already knows our weakness and our heartache, our failures and our secrets. The line is open. We have to stop making noises and pretending it's a bad connection !!!! He has gone to the most phenomenal efforts to get through to us - here - - now - We can just say "Hallo Abba. Thankyou. I love you." Thankyou as always Pastor Brett. Another brilliant teaching!! May God bless you and keep you in His grace and peace.
I have a good one...IF people trust that their PHONES and online media , AI can know everything about everyone and answer your questions ....why can't they conceive that GOD can, and much much better by the way.

I think ur also hilarious, that was actually a very funny comment about unfair Judges today its so true , I didnt hear laughter on ur side of the ph though.
