Hi Andrew, hope you are still enjoying the caravan. Just doing some research on Port'land and Port-en-Bessin as a base for a 10 day car and caravan stay next Summer, sometime during the school holidays. Would you recommend Port-land as a good base from which to explore this part of Normandy please?

We found it too restrictive for days out, and was more tiring for me than towing because of the ride quality and engine noise. I also became concerned that something we bought in 2021 with a diesel engine might not be a wise purchase 5-10 years down the line… Just a personal decision…
