Ive spent the past couple of weeks trying to clear this raid with pugs but the average new world player is absolute trash at pve and i haven't been able to get past the second boss' second stage. The raid mechanics are not really that hard compared to other mmos and i dont think voice chat is necessary at all once you know them, but i don't know, it's appalling seeing teammates make the same mistakes and dying to the same mechanics after spending 3+ hours on the same boss.
I have only attempted it 3 times and they were all pugs. Stopped after about 15 minutes on the first boss each time because no one knew what they were doing. It seems these new players do not understand the basics of the game. I bet they do not even know what a honing stone is. I think the issue is how easy the leveling process is now. People get to 65 so quick they don't have time to figure out how to play the game.

Only get drops once a week. So we already got our drops earlier in the week, no drops after that
