My good friend at secondary school, secretively wrote to Jim'll Fix It, for me to meet the Housemartins.... Even now, knowing what everyone knows, I still regard it as one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me.... Like the time at Uni, where my friend Vikki tried to get Johnny Vaughan to say happy birthday to me.... In February, 1999.... Again, it didn't happen but, I'll never forget it, just as if it had.
