One of my absolute favorites so far. Love the decor. I have to say I really love the entire property. Heavenly views. Quite unique in a lovely way. The history of the terracotta/bricks and stones. Just dreamy. Love your tours, and I feel you have most definitely earned a huge gold ⭐️!
Happy Easter Nick! Your weekly property tour has become a weekly ritual for me in Australia, I wake up and settle in with a cup of tea and dream about retiring to Italy - in the beginning I would’ve happily taken anything that didn’t need too much work - just to live the dream - but as time goes by I find you’re making me far more discerning (and perhaps the dream is feeling more realistic?) - it’s been a great way to figure out what I want and do not want - and today confirmed for me how emotionally tied I am to stone, terracotta floors, raw stone fireplaces and unpainted ceiling timbers… and also upgrades done sympathetically rather than just whacking a modern kitchen in an old property… this one isn’t for me but seeing it has helped me figure out what I do want in “the one” so many thanks for that and see you next Sunday!
Whenever I hear that a house has been divided into apartments, I think, 'oh, no'. But not this time. Both apartments are open and well designed, and surprisingly cohesive in that a group could happily co-exist, while enjoying private space. One of the nicest 'divided' properties I've seen. The pool looks amazing. It's a beautiful area, Nick, and I look forward to seeing more in this region. Your one take tours are the best. I love visiting with you every Sunday morning (Australia). Happy Easter to you and yours.
Hola Nick, I may not be in Italy right now, but I am at the Venetian~Palazzo in Las Vegas, soaking up the sun and experiencing a little taste of Italy. It has one of the world's oldest gondolas on display. The property in Tuscany has so much charm and tranquility. Besos 💋
Charmy property with stunnig views of the landscape !!!! Both houses are beautiful, The kitchens they are perfect. The master bedroom in the first flor is amaizing. The pool is excelent, Thank you for the photo in summer. A lot of chandeliers !! Nice. At last this property is so cozy. Certainly the yaxes are so cheapest. The price, 1.6 m euros, is perfect, Thank you Nick, happy easter,
"Stuff" works for me. Sarcophagus light could be treasures within! Don't miss a side trip to Murano if you are in Venice. Poured concrete meh. Fantastic paint work. Pool and landscape lovely. I find this house interesting because it is approximately the same price as my house on Marco Island, FL which I will be selling. I live 2 blocks from the beach, huge pool deck and dock with botanical garden type landscaping. So, when I compare the 2, I just don't get the price of this one. Great job as usual Nick. By the way for those who are interested in buying in Italy the Euro on 4/17/2022 is currently 1.08 to the dollar. Incredible time to buy.
This place is just beautiful.. I think this has to be my most favourite of places, if I could choose to live anywhere. Val d'Orcia is just so dreamy.. I love these apartments which you have viewed today.. I can only dream of sitting out there in the morning and evening and looking over that rolling countryside. This is perfect for me. Thanks so much for sharing Nick.
@@italianproperty And have a great easter as well Nick I ALWAY'S so look forward to your vids .. hope you can get nice choccy easter eggs there .. and if you can .. ENJOY and I'll think of you when I'm nibbling my choccy button one YUMMY lol best of luck
Beautiful property. I love poured concrete as much as terra cotta. Painted ceilings are typically poorly executed and done to hide problems. In this case, however, I rather like them as they make the rooms feel bigger and more cohesive.
Happy Easter to you and yours, Nick. Thank you for bringing us another gem. I'm loving the brick and the contemporary concrete floors. It seems a very thoughtful renovation.
Nice property. I like the brick work and the surroundings. The concrete floors look fine, but I'm partial to tile. The Italians truly know how to set tile (floors, walls, bathrooms - it doesn't matter) that I think it's sad when that skill isn't displayed. The taxes are cheap! You sure there's not another "0" on each tax? Nick, I hope you had a wonderful Easter with family/friends and lots of great food. See you on the next tour.
This is truly a perfect house. It can truly be perfect for Renting or visiting adult children to come and stay at times. Or even for a couple to help you with upkeep. So many ideas come to my mind. Good to know that the water also has so many varieties of water supplies, as with Spring, village etc. The taxes certainly are not bad at all. This has lovely views and think much can be done with this home. The furniture evidently does not come with it, or the main furniture anyway? Thank you!
Nick, I love your videos for the insight and the humor. Thanks for not having a stick up your bum about these comments and things--it's just RUclips! I liked this property. One question maybe you can answer: why do Italian homes have these tiny tiled backsplashes or what not behind every bath fixture? I get the idea, they are so darn small I don't see how they are effective. Ciao from the Midwest USA!
Wow, just wow! I loved the chandeliers, I am crazy about Victorian designs and I also love shabby chic, but those chandeliers just caught my eye right from the first moment the first apartment was painted in lovely colors & I liked those colors looked like teal or aqua & I thought complemented the painted ceilings walls. The main house was gorgeous too, I think this is something I could absolutely live in. When you told me the property taxes, I think that is dirt cheap, our property taxes are much higher in AR. Thanks for sharing and have a blessed Easter.
I really like this house! Inside it looks like a doll house. I just have a question, are there any grocery stores or do they do food deliveries in Italy to rural areas? Because many of the houses that are shown look like they are located in remote areas. The house is really nice, we can live there all seasons! Thank you for posting!
Hi, Thanks for your comment. The nearest village is only a short drive away. No online deliveries unfortunately, but lots of room to grow your own veggies. Best wishes, Nick.
Loved the tour as always but this kinda left me a tad under whelmed, but thats your fault as I fell in love with the Tuscany Farm house, where they had the same house keepers for past 25 years , that one for me was just a Dream, but still this one was nice, she says like I would ever get the chance to buy lol, Have a great weekend Nick xxxxx Dede xxx
Happy Easter to you Nick ! All your tours are marvelous because you put your heart and soul into what you do....annnnd dare I say you are abosolutely ( here it comes so get ready to duck) CHARMING !! ; )
Pretty views with the rolling hills, reminds me of the pictures I’ve seen of Tuscany. Those floors are cool but if I’m buying a historic home I want terra-cotta 😊 Here’s a question, I notice a lot of properties have bars on the windows, is there a high crime rate or are they more for decoration? I say decoration because they are usually pretty ornate and cool looking. Have an amazing Easter Nick, thanks for sharing Kirk
Italy in most areas has a low crime rate (Milan an exception). 345 Murders for the entire country last year. 0.57 per 100,000 people. USA 16,214 4.96 per 100,000. Nick did say this was being used as a holiday home by the owners, so bars would make sense for when its empty. Also Italy has a very turbulent past, with 2 World Wars fought in recent history on its land and since many of the houses Nick shows are historic it makes sense that they have security features.
Hi Kirk, Hope you had a great Easter. It's a very good question. Almost all these historical buildings have bars on the ground floor as they were used as storage, cantinas and stables. There's hardly any crime. Best wishes, Nick.
Thank you for the tour, I am always interested in looking at the properties you propose which are typical of the region and different from ours here in FVG. Buona Pasqua.
I want the striped, club chairs in downstairs!! Great property. If you cannot afford 1,600 then this is an easy split purchase, upkeep between two families or friends.
I want to like this place! Really!! But I’m afraid I don’t! It has so much attractive features! But I’m not a big fan of sacrificing a gorgeous big structure, to make it into small apartments!
If anyone knows anything about furniture, there furniture is rather expensive especially the laps in the fist apartment. Love those oversized laps simulating table laps . I had a unit like that shop display bit 4 meters by 6 meters and it came out of a tunbridge wells farm house , loved it but my fiancé didn’t have a clue and killed off my collector bug , I still want to have a store that collects exclusive pieces ,
Keep with the 'stuff', covers a multitude of things people accrue (makes it a bit more personal to me). Nothing wrong with the red chairs either but I might prefer each one in different colours!
Very expensive when taking in consideration location. This type ofmoney will get you two 3 bedrooms apartments in Rome or Milan City Centre. Don't get me wrong house is nice but way to expensive.
The Italians must bust a gut laughing at Brits and Yanks buying these old dumps for such inflated prices. 'Looka, theya wanna pretenda ta bea Italianos!' 'Americano ana Brittas theenka theya ara alla inna 'Under The Toscano Sun'! Maron... Theya wanna leeva whera the animales useta goa sheeta alla overa tha placea! Mamma Mia!
nice villa you show the most beautiful propertys thank you 🌹🌹🇮🇹🇮🇹
Gorgeous! Thank you Nick.
This is spectacular but my favorite part were the tiny white flowers dotted all over the property. They're so ethereal and dreamy.
Watching again. Tell Mary Theresa her home is FAB U LOUS. SPECTACULAR decoration & use of the spaces.
Two beautiful apartments, Nick. Love the way you know so much about the area and the house. Bravo! Would adore living there! Thank you.
