I find myself revisiting these classic episodes from time to time, just like rereading a favorite book. I miss Guiding Light and it's fantastic actors.
Geez, GL was so much better at this time. They must have had a bigger budget. Look at all the extras and all the contract players just sitting there in the courtroom with no dialogue. They don't do this anymore on any of the daytime soaps. The writing is sharper too.
Yes. Around that time he developed ALS and the executive in charge of production Mary Alice Dwyer Dobbin called him a wezzned old man. Zaslow reprised his role of David Renaldi on OLTL writing the ALS into the character. He passed away in December of 1998.

That's not Roger. Is this about the time they started screwing over Michael Zaslow?

@@angelmarie2281 the producers of Guiding Light made a big mistake in getting rid of Michael Zaslow. Rest In Peace.
Who was playing Roger?
Dennis Parlato. He was previously on "One Life To Live" and "Loving".
Absolutely! I miss the heyday of soaps with the bigger budgets. It has been sad to watch shows like GL decompose before they were cancelled.
