Dear X games, for when the riders jump, can we please just have a stationary camera zoomed out? Zoomed in shots and drone footage simply does not show the scale of how high these guys are going.

On Raha’s channel (practice #2), he & 2 other riders wanted the ramp to be a smidge steeper because he & the other 2 feared of landing high & casing the knuckle. The other 3 riders didn’t want to change anything. Borosky was on the same page with Raha. He wasn’t sending it because he practically cased hitting the knuckle. His back tire landed on top of the landing ramp on one of his runs. Raha, Borosky, & the other guy played it safe. Safe than spending several months healing broken bones & what not.
Yall don't even bother. For years I've been commenting on the best whip comps that they need to stop trying to be filmmakers with all these "action shots". For best whip, you just need cameras directly in front of, and directly behind the jump. Those are the angles you see how much these guys are corking those whips out there. This is the same thing. They are trying so hard to get these cool "movie style" shots, we're missing the most important angles. They need to zoom out, and get the landing in frame. But they don't listen. We're just stupid fans, I mean X Games is doing so well, why would they care about what we have to say? Lol

Like I would’ve dapped him up first. And Colby tried to congratulate him multiple times during the celebration. He still didn’t think to turn back to Colby. Just gave shady vibes. Colby definitely won that anyways.

That's not some accurate overlay it's just to give some general idea. People really didn't notice once where a guy looked to be probably 2' from 50 and he ended up getting 50+
Wow when you look at that first drone shot you realize how good of a rider you have to be because that's not a lot of space to land this kind of jump. One small takeoff misalignment and you'll overshoot it by meters and land in the crowd. These guys are trained but you would think the far side of the landing would slant right to the ground where the crowd is, and there wouldn't be a crowd that close on that side.
Worst shot ever, Simpler is better in this comp! Just use a static camera for the jump and then you can go banana with the replay. The zoom and drone shot messed up the sense of height and miss alot of stuff.
Does the Sark have an advantage? Yes it has more power, but it is also a lot heavier. The guys on gas bikes could be running bigger heavier engines with more horsepower but they choose 450s.
Agreed with most of the comments. Camera is horrible. Trying to get too fancy. Zoomed out veiw with a live jump meter like the old days would be waaaay better. Show the true scale of the riders jumping

Hey guys could someone please provide name of the rider that crashed during practice for this X Games Ventura Moto X High Air hoping he's okay and looking for update did he compete after the crash and who was it? ps. Although I'm a Raha fan and wanted him to win the event, I was out for a walk getting sun at my local track and missed the live stream of this event. I thought if I made it home by 6pm ET, I'd be in time for the final runs but the event was over. Had to upload some of my youtube videos and now I can watch the event. Still looking for an update on the crash maybe they will say when I watch but if they don't can someone reply or mention in these comments the name of the rider and if hes alright now how's he doing. The odd thing is, although as I mentioned I wanted Raha to win it and he's my fav, I also have loved watch Cory Creed blasting airs, and of course love watching the coverage and competing of Axyl Hodges, Bereman and all the other riders. Its just that these two seem to have always been blasting the highest which I have totally seen the whole time, and noticed through the camera that I see and because they keep winning hte events. The odd thing again.. was that as I was walking on the track today, Corey Creed came to mind like a handful of times. And I wasn't livestreaming or checking it out. I wonder if he'll be back next year with the electric bike again I think if he does he will have a lot more riding by then with it and they can improve it all year and this could have been a factor in this comp possibly the differences in the launch capabilities the torque going up the ramp seems like it would matter a great deal, moreso than the speed! to inintiate the launch, like inertia to throw it up abruptly. So if they can improve the torque on the electric bike to be equal to or exceed like Creed's setup, and blip the throttle the right amount that can be tested all year and predicted so he's comfortable and confident, I think next year we will see Raha take it but regardless this has been my fav comp and happy to see, freeriding moto x high air event. if they added more weight he actually might go higher to the bike just by that.
