@@roroonthegogo653 If you're from a culture that doesn't eat of cheese or dairy in general, continual exposure will eventually get you used to it then you learn to love it. At first, it's too heavy, rich, and salty to me. Now I'm a fatty that loves extra cheese on everything. LOL!

It's possible you're right, but if you're judging it based on her tastes, then that would be incorrect as her tastebuds haven't adjusted to Western flavors yet. It'll take her a while to get there if she grew up eating mostly Viet food all her life.

@@Leecreates Haven’t seen her genuinely enjoy eating with enthusiasm anything he cooks which was the energy that attracted me to his channel to begin with. Now, my anticipation at the end just falls flat every time she cringes in distaste with each bite. Kinda ruins the entire vibe. I totally get her pallet is not accustomed to Western food but it still kills the vibe. I enjoyed all the vids he did solo before. Kept waiting for it to improve. I’ve unsubscribed. Now I search for his channel now and then to see if he’s returned to Cananda. Even then I think he should either be the only one who eats the food or wait until she acclimates enough to crave Western food before he includes her in the taste test which regrettably is a slim chance. I prefer to watch other cooking channels where people are savoring the food so intensely it makes me want to recreate the recipe. Sad.
@@zachwilson6119 Many Vietnamese people are camera shy. They don't want to be seen on the news or social media. More are getting comfortable, but for her, not speaking English is a big handicap to overcome as she's being judged by English speakers all over the world for not speaking the language or understanding the culture/customs of Westerners. She also grew up in Hue, which doesn't have as much Western exposure as Saigon. Give her a break and stop it with the arrange marriage thing. How's it arrange when he met her years ago and they've kept in touch via phone and such due to covid?

There’s this restaurant I go to in Ontario called AG Cuisine and they have this pomme purée. I asked them how they made it because it was the best mashed potato I’ve ever had in my life. They said they sous vide Yukon gold potatoes in milk and butter. 🥺🥺🥺 Can you try doing that whenever you can and see if you like it? 😊

Quang I loveeeeee me some mushrooms, shallots, garlic. I am a big fan of garlic I cook with alot of garlic it really flavor your food . Your wife loved this meal .
