Very Interesting.I found two rocks in my new gravel.I think that they are quarts .I love my new hobby. All my family are listining to are rocks and more rocks.Great video.
Just to clarify: You take it out of the iron out and put it into a bucket of hot, plain water. From there, you scrub any excess stuff off and place it into another bucket of hot water. Do you then leave it in that bucket of hot water for 24 hours & rinse? If so, what do I do after? If not, would you please clarify what I do after I remove them from the iron out & rinse them?
Super iron out and iron out are the same thing.. I'm used to say I'm super iron out because they change the label and took the word super off of the front it's only on the back..
one is an oxcilic acid the other sodium . depending on what gemstone or mineral youre cleaning you wld have to use one or the other. They are NOT the same. wldnt even make sense to have two products exactly the same w different names🤦
After soaking in Iron Out then scrubbing and rinsing several times.... there is a stubborn white residue/coating on all of my rocks after they dry. What and why does Iron Out do this to the rocks and how do I clean it off and get rid of it for good?

Pyrite contains iron….so are you trying to dissolve the sulfides into an iron and sulfuric acid solution?
I was only trying to remove the rust stains in this video
Aquarium safe after a short soak and scrub? crazy question. Thought I would try lol

Excellent
This is part 2, but I couldn't find part 1. I'm wondering if you dilute the Iron Out at all. If so how much?
Did you ever find out if you dilute it or not?? I just put a bunch of rocks in full strength
I was looking too lol 🤷🏻
Part 1 doesn’t say “part 1” in the title. It’s a bit over 5 mins long.
It comes in powder form so you add it with water.
@@thekentuckycrystalgarden3174 how much?
He's using Iron Out, they make a Super Iron Out but you have to order it online
I have not seen that I only know that super iron out and iron or the same thing it still says super iron out on the back of a bottle..

I'm having the same issue! Did you manage to remove or figure out what the white residue was?
