I think it was horribly selfish of the bride to choose the boat as a venue when her husband was sea sick. He should have said, "Fine honey. Go ahead and enjoy the reception, I'm staying on dry land. See you at the honeymoon, bit--"
I know sea sickness can hit anyone at anytime but this groom clearly has experience with this why are they on a boat for their reception? ?

She is selfish. I get seasick and if my husband told me he demanded a boat wedding, I wouldn't be marrying him. She needs to take into consideration he gets seasick! Poor dude
Loved this couple their circumstances are a bit silly but they made it work. Sad to see how stressed the bride was over her mother. I see this a lot on the show couples feel pressured to invite certain family members because if they dint invite them it makes them look bad

Why was the groom so late and so disorganized? Sure they show dramatic clips but when you see these brides and grooms and their inability to navigate weddings and life you would think they deserve to not be employed or rather have issues with holding down a job and make money to even pay for the wedding.
This is the brides son and it’s because he doesn’t care about anyone besides himself and the rest of his family
He also is very racist and said the N-word in front of me

Good question! Weddings do not have to be traditional. I like Jane but it i time to get real. Jane doesn't know everything especially in Canada (resources). Its time we see some fails even if it is not granting a wish or not getting the groom from not barfing etc. The formula of these shows are much like other tv shows whether they be reality or sitcoms. Somehow it serves at least one person's ego in this case Jane's where somehow they look good/miracle worker somehow the guy (Michael) comes off like a goof and in this case another stereotype also applies. It is staged ie on one episode Michael was dusting with CLR and I am not sure he had to wear such tight swim trunks etc (always good to show some muscle and flesh. Sex sells. Classic over the top characters, drama, trauma, conflict and a happy ending.

i don't get why they booked a venue that seriously isn't suited to him. Even if she wanted it it's just not right for him at all. They should go get married at a registry office with no one staring at them, then just have a cocktail party without the big entrance
they both seemed to be giving into pressure from others (family, each other) and not even enjoying the process as a result. it was sad to watch the bride too scared to even show her friends her dress and the groom too sick to even taste food in his venue. it’s hard when loved ones and traditions put so many expectations on people that weddings become so painful because they feel obligated to make others happy. i really felt for the bride seeing the trauma her relationship with her mom brought up. the mom was acting so nice and chill, which may have been good for the purposes of the reunion and wedding, but from the bride’s end it seems like they had a really painful past. they seem like nice people. i hope they’re still together and happy and things are better with bride and her mom.

Motion sicknesses is often caused because your middle ear tells your brain, "We're moving!" But your eyes tell your brain, 'We're just standing here!"
So look at a fixed point so your brain "sees" the movement.
In our car I always told my carsick kids, "Count the telephone poles!" Their nausea would go away. At sea, you have to look at the horizon to get a visual of the ship's movement. Good luck!
My heart absolutely broke seeing her so anxious while wearing her dress - she looks so pretty and so sweet and she couldn't see it. Really love this episode -- they are a lovely couple and I'm glad it all worked out.
Side note - they could have just gotten a patch for seasickness (it's over the counter and works like a charm without having to use a wish)
It's not just sickness it's his fear
He was also terrified of water in addition to motion sickness.
OMG this was the best episode. Without Jane it wld of been too much for the Bride and Groom.
