    Thanks I recently took the official photorealistic rendering using Solidworks and pv360 and I can relate all what you're saying. Thanks for the insight

    It's good lesson for beginners like me. I am very glad to find a good theory on Rendering. Thank you for it. I am very much eagerly waiting for some live rendering lesson. Hope you will upload soon. thank you once again.

      @3Dpilot  Год назад

      @@davidaIano Unfortunately, I won't be covering Photoview any more. By now it's terribly outdated. I highly recommend switching to Visualize if you have that included. Otherwise, Keyshot is the easiest to use and best paid alternative. Blender is also worth your time and is free, but won't give you fast results.

    Nicely done video! Did you ever produce the follow-up rendering video?

    • @3Dpilot
      @3Dpilot  Год назад

      Unfortunately, no. Seeing the progression of rendering tools, I don't recommend the Photoview 360 rendering engine any more. However, the ideas outlined in this video translate between most render engines: Photoview, Visualize, Keyshot, Blender (cycles / Eevee), ... I highly recommend to check those out first.

    9:48, did he just say use a in between 18, and 18? (subtitled) based on the 50 mm i'm guessing he meant 80 correct?

    • @3Dpilot
      @3Dpilot  4 года назад

      Hi!
      I recommend choosing a value between 18 and 80 mm (or orthographic). Going lower than 18 gives great distortion, going above 80 has so little perspective it's better to use orthographic. Of course, Creative freedom is still yours!

    • @3Dpilot

      That's an awefully specific question. I wouldn't recommend Photoview360 these days, to anyone. try Visualise, keyshot, or if you're looking for more functionality, Blender.

    Where is the “how to” render? You are just explaining elements about a render

    • @3Dpilot
      @3Dpilot  5 лет назад

      I was planning to make that video, on photoview 360. However, visualize came along (of which I am no fan). Basically everything in this video is applicable to most render software. I try to explain why some settings are important; to find the actual buttons to click on I refer to each renderer's community. You should find what you're looking for when googling the terms I used + your software's name...

    • @daveson3D
      @daveson3D 5 лет назад +1

      @@3Dpilot what i meant was that i was hoping to find in your video how to render inside solidworks. Im trying out SolidWorks and wanted to know the steps to render a part. Maybe its the title of the video that's confusing, perhaps something like "Considerations before Rendering" or "What to know before rendering". Anyhow, thanks for your video. Cheers!

    • @3Dpilot
      @3Dpilot  5 лет назад

      I understand the confusion. I hope you find a step by step guide, that'll help you, especially if you're new to this. Cheers, I wish you the best!
