Here’s my worry. My dealership says no markup on ordered cars,but when it comes in they mark it up and say “take it or leave it” them knowing they can sell it for an extra $5k+. Then I have to start all over again and hope the next dealer doesn’t do the same thing.
Ya. That’s why you gotta get them to commit in writing to sell it for msrp. I wouldn’t leave without that promise.

I went in to order a WB Scat Saturday and they had to put me on a list for 23 orders.
Im being told that I will get my car due to the fact this dealer is one of the oldest Dodge dealerships in the country. High allocations.
I also was told I will get a car below MSRP for waiting. They have been fair to everyone I have talked to this year. I feel good about the way we were treated Saturday and have no red flags yet.
Good luck to everyone wanting a car still and hopefully people will keep these cars to enjoy and pass down if the end is real.
The special edition cars Need to be shipped at night with covers over them bc I have a feeling thieves are gonna be crazy to get there hands on them your a big target if you buy one of them it's not about being scared just Facts I'm good with my scat pack plain

Come to phoenix Arizona i ordered and bought my 2022 hellcat wide body charger with no mark ups.. This Dodge dealership has everything.
Our local Dodge dealer does not hide anything. They have stating cars come in on a transport, if they do, and it is the handling a prep work that adds to the price upwards of $15K and extra profits. They have a Hell Cat and a Red Eye in the showroom not for sale, just to show. Thing is Dodge is not going to build some 100K cars and divvy out trim levels.
Im about to go work for Dodge as a tech. One of my conditions is I get an allocation, get the tissue price (invoice) minus rebates like the usual employee discount, for a JB (or SS if they have it for 2023). I want another one. I dont even care about the pay. I want to work on cars and get my Hemis before its too late.
This is why I bought my Scat a few days ago. I got it for MSRP. I wanted the WB, but 5-10k markups. It was gonna be at least 10k more. I'm happy with my choice.

I hope some of these 7 Last Call Cars make it to Canada. Gotta love how OC speews the truth and nothing but, he has a way of making things enjoyable and has good content Also wonder....is hiding you keys a video thing? If you want to drive the wife's vehicle do you have to hunt for her keys, lol. I look forward to the locator and watch dealers cry as so many of us will hunt for the best deal instead of going to the closest dealer and get bent over with markups. Give Casper (white charger) to daughter, keep black jailbreak, buy 2023 sublime jailbreak and sell black jailbreak after getting 2023. Maybe drive white charger until 2023 comes in and save black one with next to zero miles on it for the sale and than give white charger to daughter at that point.

I work at a Dodge dealership and the one thing everyone needs to understand is order units are taking us an average of 5 to 6 months. When you order a car say September allocation it is usually for November production.
facts. i order my 21 sb in spetember 21. got the window sticker and said shipped 1from the factory 2/07/21. sat in buffalo for a LONG time. didnt arrive at the dealership until feb 2022.
I see a lot of people spending money they don't have.meanig intrest rates are going up and up and inflation is climbing at an alarming rate also...you won't get next year's car for this year's financing.they are saying intrest rates are going to be in the teens and twenties.and I don't think bank's are going to be handing out loan's like they use to.if it were me I would start banking the estimated monthly payment now and then have more money down.i mean average payment is what now? 1,200-1,400 a month? I don't know just my thoughts on it.

It would be Great if Dodge would allocate only to dealers who never charged any markups. Screw the dealers that screwed so many loyal Mopar folks.
I actually think this has the chance of having that ultimate effect. People will know where to go instead of paying mark ups if this works properly. Will be interesting to watch!
In the dodge forums these dealers are really popular and let you order below invoice and then ship it to you.

Dodge doesn’t care because to then it isn’t a problem because sales are still up and people still buying the cars. Dodge would only notice if sales went down but it won’t. People want to buy what’s hard to get
My dealership got a regular widebody hellcat going for 125k here in Maryland. I could get a Porsche for that money. They are crazy.

I'm starting to see Dealerships here and there go out of business but then some kind of Used Car Lot goes up in its place. That's kind of scary knowing that some are going to really try get what they can out of everything, if their already planning to shut down business in the near future before they even start to deal with you.

Just to clarify Brampton Ontario Canada is where all the chargers and challengers are built. So you may want to get your jailbreak no guarantee that we all get our 2023 cars

Yes I like it too. Here on Longisland there's the biggest dealership in the north east. So yup I'm 2nd on the list for a nice black shakedown. So yeah I love it. Hopefully Dec I will pick her up

Never pay mark ups! Keep calling other dealers. Save the $5k!

Any well thought of plan is doomed and the dealers will find ways around this to screw us. Personally I don’t think these last call special edition sticker packages are really worth it.

Dodge last call is a bust...how is this being the last call limited editions..don't understand their marketing plan. Every edition for the last call should be by demand until the end. That European company that took over FCA needs to learn more about the American market. Sorry OCM your way off..it's not good it's a mark up nightmare for consumers.
